Greetings to all the beautiful community @WEEKENDEXPERIENCIAS today I will participate in the initiative created by the dear friend @galenkp where he exposes several topics, the ones I liked the most was . Have you ever had a bad haircut or a bad day and are willing to show it? Post the picture and tell us in at least 300 words how or why it happened, how you felt and what consequences your bad haircut or bad day had. Photos must be your own.

Let's face it, no one wants to take a picture of themselves with a bad haircut, let alone looking bad. Since I was a little girl I have always been the different one in my house and family. Everyone has straight hair except me and my grandmother. Everyone calls me "the hairy one" because of my mane. I always fought with my curly hair. On one occasion, my aunt Maria, my dad's sister, was visiting the house and when she saw that I had so much hair, she asked me if I wasn't hot. I looked at her with a smile and said, "Well, yes, Aunt, but I'm used to it. She asked me if I didn't want to cut my hair a little. I was not very convinced, but seeing the insistence of my brothers and my aunt, I decided to cut the ends a little. According to her, it was a big mistake that I would later regret.

For me, it was a very sad experience, so much so that I take care of my hair. Being a curly haired girl, I have always been very careful about choosing a stylist who knows how to handle my hair type. I remember I was so excited to get a new look, even though I repeatedly explained to my aunt that it was just the ends. She told me calmly, that she is tired of cutting hair. So, I trusted her and she started cutting my hair with scissors without taking into account the direction of my curls. This worried me, as I knew that curls should be cut with to have an even and symmetrical cut. I let him know my concern, but he assured me he knew curly hair cutting very well and continued to cut it. As he progressed with the cut, I could tell that he was cutting too much hair and my curly lengths were rapidly getting shorter. The results were not what I expected and he lacked technique. This contributed to my growing disappointment. At the end of the cut, I went to look in the hall mirror and was shocked. My curls had lost their shape and now They looked messy and undefined. I had left some shorter and some longer. I wanted to die. I went to my room to cry for a while and my hair looked like a bird's nest. My older sister comforted me and told me not to worry, that it would be fixed, that she was going to call her friend and go to her hairdresser. Although my aunt felt bad and apologized to me, I didn't speak to her at the time, she was very upset. I put on a cap and went with my sister to the hairdresser. When we arrived, the hairdresser Laura asked, "What did they do to that hair, girl?" I sat in the chair and she tried to even out both sides because there were some curls longer than others. In the end, my hair was down to my shoulders, not what I wanted, but it made the mess my aunt made in my hair much better. This experience taught me to be more cautious and to never put my head in the hands of a family member or friend, but to look for a professional who specializes in all types of hair, especially mine. In the end, I was content with my hair, hair grows, but I am left with the experience of always looking for a professional.

woah you hair is super poofy. At first i thought that thumbnail was the bad hair day but seems like it's your natural hair. I think your hair is unique and I'm glad you're not ashamed of it and being different than many of your family members that have straight hair. have a great weekend!

I would have absolutely died if that had happened to my hair. Very hard to forgive my aunt for it. But your mane still looks absolutely spiffing and I'm sure you must be so proud of it. It's really beautiful.🌺

Thank you very much, but if you had seen it before the hairdresser cut you would have died laughing, as the saying goes, the cobbler to his shoe, always look for a professional hairdresser.
