RE: Mid Way Point At The End Of The Season

!LOLZ maybe you planted dwarf size onions? 😁 Or maybe they could stay in the ground for longer? I once planted shallots and around September they looked like a joke still, so I harvested them in late October/November. The winter was very mild that year though.

Your garden is looking great nonetheless. Look at those huge tomatoes and pumpkins 🀩

Garden for me a constant work in progress and a learning curve. We learn new things every year and just being outdoors and in contact with nature is a win. Happy harvest friend πŸ’™

Nah these are regular onions and should be round. Not sure what exactly went wrong, but I suspect it is the soil. Oh and these may be better suited for the northern part of my country. Hopefully I can get some better ones next year:)

Ah well, we live and learn. Maybe the soil indeed, who knows. Still, it’s great to try and experiment with what we can and can’t grow and there is always something yummy to munch on in between the trials. Good luck 🀞
