Aggrieved Putin "Doesn't Believe He Can Afford To Lose" In Ukraine: US Spy Chief. I Believe it's the Mind Game Strategy

Everyone that knows Soviet history, will understand that Ukraine was one of the Soviet regions that clamored for the dissolution of the Great Soviet Union in 1991. A true believer of the Soviet doctrine will know that the remote causes of the Russia's military invasion could be traced to that period, while the immediate cause of the current war is to annex some part of Ukraine that Russia believe belongs to Russia.

Russia in the early stage of the war have used the media as a propagandist instrument to tell the world how might they're in battle, but with the Ukrainian military airstrikes and sinking of the Russia's flagship operating in the Black Sea, the entire world became aware of Russia's military limitations and this gave the Ukrainian military the impetus to continue with the war.

The recapturing of most Ukrainian cities from the hands of the Russian military, has further proven that Ukraine could hold on to the battle and probably defeat Vladimir Putin and his military apparatus. Although, this can never be the case from any pro-Russian supporters. Every Russian in Moscow have been told that the Russian military is winning the war on all front in Ukraine, but this we all know isn't the actual truth.

It's true that Ukraine have suffered heavy collateral damages that'll take billions of dollars to bring them back to pre-war state, but the Ukrainian military is doing every well on all front to keep the Russian military away from victory, most especially in the Southeastern region of Donbas.

Despite the failure of Russian forces to capture Kyiv and their struggle to advance along the war's main frontlines in Donbas, Putin has not changed his view that his troops can defeat Ukraine's, the CIA director said.Source

Kyiv and Donbas are known as frontline regions of the current Russia-Ukraine war and it's been very difficult for the Russian military to breakthrough the Ukrainian military to capture these two cities. With constant battle in both cities, the Ukrainian military have been more formidable to keep the Russian military away for over 10 weeks of the invasion. This to me is a sign that Ukraine is becoming stronger kuddos to the United States and other European countries for supporting the Ukrainian military with heavy munitions, including tanks and planes.

Putin's belief in the Russian military's ability to wear down Ukrainian resistance probably has not been shaken despite key battlefield defeats, the US spy chief told a Financial Times conference.
"I think he's in a frame of mind in which he doesn't believe he can afford to lose," Burns saidSource

The question that I want to ask is, does being in a frame of mind win a war?

No! Being in a right frame of mind to me is just a moral support that even brings one closer to losing a war. It's the soldiers that are in the battlefield that knows whether the war is currently favoring Russia or Ukraine at the moment. Is Putin even aware that he's losing some capture Ukrainian cities back to the Ukrainian military?

Burns, a former US ambassador to Russia who has spent much time studying the Russian leader, said his and other Western intelligence agencies see no sign that Moscow is prepared to deploy tactical nuclear weapons in order to gain a victory in Ukraine or to target Kyiv's supporters.source

For Putin to win the current war in Ukraine, he has to deploy the use of nuclear weapons, but most Western leaders believe that the Russian President isn't ready to do that yet and may probably not use tactical weapons in this current war.
