Covid-19 Vaccination Saga: Church Sacks Employee for Consciously taking the Covid-19 Vaccine: Where are we Heading to?

It has been sounded and resounded again that governments of some nations are forcing their citizens including children to take the compulsory Covid-19 vaccine and this is seen as an abberation of the citizens fundamental human rights. Some employees have lost their source of livelihood for not taking the covid-19 vaccine, which is Uncalled for. In recent weeks it's been a recurring facts that the covid-19 vaccine have lost their efficacies. This post looks at the legal pointy view for a church to sack an employee who simply obeyed government order regarding the covid-19 vaccine.

A Byron Bay woman know as Laine Chait who was working as a client consultant for the Newcastle-based Ubuntu Wellness Clinic owned by the Church of Ubuntu (COU). The church sacked Laine in October after discovering that she was vaccinated. The thought of one being sacked for this reason has overwhelmed my mind as I'm writing this content. What came out of my thoughts is, where is the place of freedom of choice in our society today? How come the government and the church are now contradicting themselves. Yes the truth is that every organization has their layed down principles of operation and could decide the next action to take if the principles are abbridged.
According to Laine Chait, a lot of customers that come to the clinic are vaccinated, so why are they still serving customers who are vaccinated?Source This point made by Ms Laine is very strong, I think if an organization wants to take decision concerning it's operational manual it should be total and not in bits or to enclose other aspects of their principles. Since they don't want anything vaccinated close to the church property, then they should observe and restrict patients that are vaccinated from coming to the clinic.

That's by the way, in the termination letter presented to Ms Laine Chait, the church stated categorically why she was sacked as seen below:

As a consequence of this ... the Church Of Ubuntu has taken a position that no committee members or full members can be accepted if they consciously chose to, and then complete injections, with any of the current or future planned injections purported to protect from the COVID-19/Sars Cov 2 virus.
"It is the position of the COU that to receive the COVID-19/Sars Cov 2 injection consciously and deliberately with intent is in contradiction with our Constitution and contrary to our position on what is required of us by our Lord God and Creator.
"As a consequence Lainie can no longer be a full member of the COU. She can however in keeping with the Ubuntu Philosophy still remain as an associate member if she chooses.

What's the position of the Law on the Matter?
The decision to sack Ms Laine Chait by the Church of Ubuntu is actually an abberation of the provisions of the law concerning the covid-19 vaccine mandate and as such unfair to her. Mark Swivel, from Barefoot Law, said the position of the law will be determined on whether Ms Laine Chait was classified as an employee or a contractor. Once this line is drawn, then the matter of whether the decision was fair or unfair will be considered.
