First Rain of Winters in Quetta 🌧️
Hello Hive Family!
How are you all? I hope you are doing well. I am also doing well. When I woke up in the morning the weather was cloudy. I really love cloudy weather because it often brings rain. And rain is my favourite.
Finally It Rained in Quetta!
I live in Quetta where it does not rain very often. It rarely rains here. But finally after a very long time we got some rain in Quetta today. It was the first rain of this winter season. So when I woke up in the morning I got this lovely surprise that it was raining outside.
If you have seen my previous posts on my old account which is now hacked then you might remember that I once shared a post about a lake in Quetta. I visited that lake and shared how it had completely dried up because of the lack of rain. But finally today we got a little rain. It made everyone happy and improved our mood.
Capturing the Beautiful Views
After that I went to the rooftop and took some beautiful pictures of the scenery. I thought I should share them with all of you because finally it was raining in Quetta.
As soon as I went to the rooftop I noticed small water drops on the ground. I captured them so I could show them to all of you. Actually when I pointed my mobile camera towards the sky I could not see the rain clearly. But I could see the raindrops on the ground. I do not have a good camera so I cannot take very clear pictures. Still I managed to take some pictures of the trees near our house and the beautiful clouds in the sky.
Childhood Memories of Rain
When I was a child I used to enjoy the rain a lot. We used to play in the rain. Whenever it rained while I was at my grandmother's house all my cousins and I would play together in the rain. We even used to open our mouths and see whose mouth would catch a raindrop first.
Today when I went to the rooftop my brother's daughter also came with me. Seeing her reminded me of my childhood. She was also playing in the rain and was very happy. She was doing all those cute things that children usually do when it rains. It brought back so many lovely memories.
Hoping for More Rain
The rain lasted for about half an hour or maybe even less than that. Then it stopped. I think it might rain a little throughout the day. But I hope we get more rain because without rain our lakes are drying up. Rain is also very important for trees and nature.
What Is Your Favourite Season?
So friends do you also love the rainy season like I do? Or do you prefer another season? Please tell me in the comments because my favourite is actually winter snow first and rain comes second.
But we do not get much snow in Quetta anymore. It has been many years since we had proper snowfall. Sometimes we get a little snow but it is so little that it does not even stay on the ground.
However a few years ago Quetta used to get a lot of snowfall. When I was little there was so much snow and we used to play in it a lot. But in the last few years snowfall has become very rare.
