We have a neighbor down the property who has a mini-greenhouse filled with succulents and cacti. I had a jamming time with the young man and the boys before and took the chance to photograph some of their plants.

Succulents, cacti and flowers became a "thing" for most people in the last few years when buyers from other places started to flock the locality in search for interesting things to bid on wholesale. Others sell them online too so it was booming. There were "common" plants, "rare" ones and what else they call them.

Recently, the demand for these plants have slowed down and many (like our neighbor) found themselves unable to sell what they have grown so they end up keeping them around their houses.

But for some who already has an established customer base, business is still doing good.

Your photos are really great. It reminds me of the height of the pandemic when many are into gardening and buying plants. When you mentioned "common" and "rare" plants, it reminds me of different rarities in NFT blockchain-based games. I thought you will add "epic" and "legendary." 😆

Thank you. Everyone became obsessed with plants in the last few years. Now, I think the interest is waning. My wife has forgotten to take care of her plants in the other house ha ha. I cannot blame her because we seldom go home to the place.

I thought you will add "epic" and "legendary."

Ha ha ha, maybe there is something like that in plants but I am not just aware of them :D
