...AND HE ALMOST DIED BECAUSE OF ANGER.

Lovely people,
It's a new dawn and a new month over here. Firstly thanks be to God for allowing me see the third month of this year. The previous month wasn't easy but at the end glory to God.

Immediately I woke this morning, I started pondering on what to write down in this beautiful community as we begin a new month. In the state of my thought, I had a flash back of an incidence that happened to my friend which laid a great lessons that one could consider and learn from. The whole situation circumnavigate around anger. Therefore, I would share a life touching story of a friend who almost died because of Anger.

What's Anger?

I think proceeding with this write-up without defining some key words would affect the level of assimilation.
Anger is an emotion that is inherent in every human being which seeks expression on any environment provided.
Anger could also be seen as the emotions of feelings of displeasure, dissatisfaction,or annoyance etc which is caused by certain factors. Everyone is bound to have anger but what we do matters a lot. When anger lacks self control it leads to great disaster.

Some causes of anger include financial crises. When you have surplus need with less cash deliberately you would be angry at yourself and when one talks to you, you become over reactive. Environment could also cause anger, stress, abuse and many other causes.

... And he almost died because of anger.

Haven established some basic premise, I would like to share a true life story about my friend how anger almost caused him his life.
This young man had stayed with his uncle for many years now he's getting mature and the sense of independence started oozing out from him. The feeling of I have arrived, I am a man, I want to marry, I need to be on my own all these were what kept running through his mind and importantly the peers influence.

The uncle really made in ensuring that life is comfortable for my friend. A day came my friend started making demands for his own settlement. That the uncle should give him his own portion so that he can go and start life else where. The uncle was so amazed at such intention.

Hmmm everyone thought it was a joke not knowing that my friend is up to something negative. That fateful evening, my guy picked some sticks of matches along side kerosene that he would burn the entire house. He was very serious and furious at his uncle. In fact he poured the kerosene round about to light up the house suddenly people and the neighbourhood stepped into the scene to help out. It took a little time to get him restrained. At that moment, he wasn't in his right senses because his emotions had been tampered with therefore someone must be very careful in dealing with such.

The guy persisted on having his civil right with properties accord to his name. Some people started wondering because this guy wasn't the biological son of this man why such demand? Could it be because he stayed with him for a couple of years?

After a while, the uncle almost wanted the security personnel to get him apprehended but because of his faith he allowed peace to rain if not something terrible would have happened to this young man.

At the end, my guy started regretting about his actions hmmmm that is one thing with anger. It always comes with regret at the end. He asked himself what if he had burn the house? What if the neighbours dealt with him mercilessly? He shouted I would have been a dead man simply because I could not control the emotions of anger.

Lessons.

There could be so many lessons but I chose to share these few ones that is so pertinent to my heart.

  • Anger doesn't produce good results instead it creates more damages that one could think of.
  • It's not advisable to make decision when one is not balanced emotionally especially when angry.
  • In the midst of anger, deliberately find a way to calm yourself and don't rush over things.
  • Anger could be dangerous and could even kill someone.
  • Keep your self refreshed with good things like reading books etc.

¡Virgen santisima!
