Today is a remarkable day because of the mothers across the globe.
Every third Sunday of March is normally dedicated to celebrate the mothers especially in the kind of church I attend. This is an annual event that is characterised by lots of programme to commemorate the day.

What's mothering Sunday?

There are two basic keywords here which are mothering and Sunday. These words are very familiar and often used by individuals.
Mothering Sunday connotes a day to celebrate, share the joy of a mother. In the environment where I live, mothers assembled in the church for a worship, Thanksgiving to God for what he had done. Thereafter prayers was said unto them and opportunities given to them to display varied kind of activities. Then later gifts were exchanged and light refreshments were served.

In the place of my worship today hmmm was a Wow because I have never seen women being coordinated like that. The boldness that erupted from them was just amazing. I was flabbergasted when a woman came and shared gifts packaged to all seated women... I celebrate God.

I began my celebration first and foremost by speaking with my wife and wishing her Moree grace then called my mother to hear the sound of her voice. How can I forget my mother in law? She was the last I called and she was just excited from the tone of her voice. Distance couldn't permit me to send forth my gifts to her, one good thing about her is that she understands me very well.

The significance of this day.

I can't celebrate what I don't know and what worth celebrating should be celebrated very well. On this note, I would like to outline some important points that calls for the remembrance of the day.

• At times you might be very busy throughout the year but because of this day, you just have to spare time just one day in the whole 365days to unleashed an unreserved love upon a mother. It must be deliberate.
• Mothering Sunday ignites one's passion and rekindles the genuine love for mothers. If you have forgotten your mother, you have an ample opportunity to commune with them again.
• Mothering Sunday creates a good premise for love to be expressed in clear and practical terms. You don't just talk love but you do love. You could buy recharge card and send or wrapper or food items etc.
• Mothering Sunday is like a reconciliation time where wounds are healed, broken relationship is amended and where rededication also occurs.
• Mothering Sunday gives one a bell of remembrance especially the kind of care, love, sacrifices that was given by a mother. Nine months she was pregnant and took all the pains and some struggled to make ends meet.
  There's nothing enough one could do or give for a ransom of what mother had done.
  If your mother is still alive celebrate her very because you can't do that in the grave.
