His first day in School.

Hi great hivers especially ocd community,
I'm so glad to be here again. Hope we're all enjoying our time on hive. I can't just keep this to my self alone. You just have to know this.

My son is lovely and so dear to me. We took our time training him at home for about 2years. We made efforts to procure basic educational audio and visual aid to enhance his learning experience. It was fruitful and wonderful. His ability to grasp and assimilate most of the concepts was quite encouraging. His performance keeps improving hence we were impressed to allow him start conventional school.

My son is 2.5 years old when he started school recently. His mother and I were flabbergasted at his very first day in school. Guess what? We thought he will cry uncontrollably but to our dismayed no blink of tears on his cheeks. He was courageous and very bold. The headmistress was like this boy...so amazed.
In our African mentality, we believe that once someone goes to school for the first time has to extensively cry for at least one week but reverse was the case of my son.

For the first three days my wife takes him to school and brings him back after closure. We did that to introduce him very well to the new environment. The fourth day he joined the school bus and till date. Every morning has been one level of improvement to the other. Any time he wakes up after devotion, the next thing is preparation for school.

My son's first day experience in school is quite unique and I really appreciate God for everything he had done. I pray the Lord will continue to preserve him till he finishes this cadre of educational pursuit.
