QUALITIES OF A FIRST AIDER// CLEANING ACTIVITY FOR TUESDAY 19-3-2024

Sometimes back, I started a discussion on who a first aider is. I noticed that many aren't responsible and tends to leave most accident victims for road safely workers or health personnel alone. Everyone in this season must brace to fill in every vacuum and play the role that is expected.

I would lik to share with you the qualities of a good first aider.

1. Observant. A good first aider must learn to observe very carefully the environment and the accident victims.

2. Confidence. As a good first aider you need to develop confidence in taking a patient and also must be confidential in keeping data of the patient as well.

3. Another quality I noticed is that the first aider must learn to persevere no matter the situation.

4. As a good first aider, you need to be explicit. You must be able to give precise, detailed, and accurate information about the casualty and treatment given.

5. The first aider need to be tactful. The first aider should be able to secure the confidence of the victim.

6. Another profound attributes of a good first aider is the ability to exercise good judgement.

I would like to stop and hope to continue subsequently with more updates on the safety management.
