The Kingdom Of Ruin: Love and Revenge

What’s up my weebs and Otaku friends, it’s another week to talk about anime with people who love it. This week, I’ll be sharing with you an anime I discover that deals with love and revenge. It’s not just your regular anime and it’s definitely 18+. It has the vibes of “Fullmental Alchemist” and a little touch of “Attack on Titan”. It’s an anime that’s full of unnecessary bloodshed and it shows the in-depth characters of humans. The title of this anime is **The Kingdom Of Ruin”

The Kingdoms of Ruin is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by yoruhashi. It began serialization in Mag Garden's Monthly Comic Garden magazine in April 2019. An anime television series adaptation produced by Yokohama Animation Laboratory aired from October to December 2023.

The kingdom of ruin is an anime that center around human and witches. It is said that God created humans and witches with the sole purpose of witches to help human out with the magic they possess but after the discovery of science, the emperor of humans believe they don’t need the witches again so he made a decree that all witches should be exterminated.

Adonis; the MC who is a human child was abandon in the slum to die but was found by Chloe. Chloe the witch was found of Adonis like he was her own son. She took care of him while on constant run from the human extermination squad.

Chloe was kind and nice, not just to Adonis but to everyone around her. She never wanted to fight the human or cause any bloodshed but she’s always finding herself in difficult situations until she was caught by the emperor.

The king who wanted all witches dead caught Chloe and it was an ugly day for adonis. One fun fact about this anime is that, humans can’t use magic but Chloe took In Adonis and taught him how to use magic. He became very good at it, she always stop him from using magic so others won’t know he can use magic. After they were caught, a device was activated which couldn’t allow Chloe use her magic to escape. While the king order that Adonis be killed in front of Chloe, she begged with her life telling the king that “Adonis is also a human”

Right in front of Adonis, his beloved teach cloth was ripped apart, humiliated and then killed.

After that day, he was locked up in a cell and the only thing that kept him alive for 10years was the love of his teacher, and his hatred for humans. During those 10 years he was locked up, he continued to trained in his mind coming up with different magic algorithms he can use to destroy human.

10 years had passed and some witches infiltrated his prison to free him which they succeeded.

This witches free Adonis with the aim of using his power to their advantage and taking revenge on the human, little did they know they have just released a monster who lacks love and seek revenge, and is ready to do it alone.

If you haven’t watched this anime, I would suggest you give it a try. You’re a lover of good anime, then this one will keep you on your toes till the end.
