Brother Eli was true about what he said about "what must on do to have a genuine faith".... It's only God who can help one to have a genuine faith. No one can gives wisdom apart from God. Has he said, "it doesn't comes from anybody, only God can do that"....
From this topic we learn amazing things, God pleased by the folly of preaching to save them by faith. For that they speak of wisdom in them that not the knowledge of this world. Or even the princes of this world disappear. We speak of the knowledge of God in a mystery.
Even hidden knowledge that God commanded us before God to glorify us before this earth. None of the princes of the earth knew, If they only knew, they would not crucify the glorious one.
It is easy then to see from this episode that there are two types of wisdom - that of God and that of the world. The wisdom of God is through his gift while that of the world which I can call human logic is acquired by human effort.
