MY IMAGE

Hello everyone, My name is Lawrence Deborah. I was introduced to Hello everyone, My name is Lawrence Deborah. I was introduced to this platform by @treasuree. She has taken her time to explain to me how Hive works and I am happy I got to know about this blockchain.

I am a married woman with a family. Am from Ogun State, in the western region of Nigeria. Born into a family of six children, I am the fifth child and the daughters in the family. I was raised by my parents, I lived with both parents till my final year at secondary school. I lost my daddy after my secondary school education, which really devastated me and caused a little delay or setback to my education. I lost a rare gem who has promised to cater for all his children's education up to university level. He was an educationist, who valued education and was also a teacher.

After his death, I waited almost five years before I could continue with my education at a tertiary institution. The delay was as a result of my two senior sisters who as at that time in university, and because of the financial constraint and lost of the family breadwinner, I have no choice but to wait for them to finish and using the period to engage in menial wage job and that the same time attending Secretarial Studies school.

I later gained admission into Federal Polytechnic Ede, to further advance my learning in Secretarial Studies with Higher National Diploma.

THINGS I AM INTERESTED IN.

i have a lot of things i love to do, but mostly i love hanging out with children, i love traveling , attending parties, i also love attending christian fellowships, because it is a way of communicating with God. I love singing , dancing and also i love being around family members, it is a way to bond together. I work in a school with students from different backgrounds. I have the privilege to interact with their parents which has given me the opportunity to learn a lot of things from them.

I love writing as well as reading and so I yearn to develop myself more in ICT and accounting. I also love to further my education especially on professional courses.

Thank you for taking time to read this page of my introduction.

So sorry about what you had to go through, I’m sure the five years was not really a waste.

You really love being around people, which is nice and lovely, I am sure your children would be proud to have you.

And yes, you are highly welcome here.

Hi Deborah welcome

Hello on this mighty fine day and nice to meet you! I found your account because I got a message you are new, and because the beginning can be difficult I swung by with some tips.

You took the step to become a blogger and that’s great. I like to welcome you to the Hive blockchain and platform. A very extensive platform of fun and words.

As of now you are a hiver or newBee as we are calling ourselves. This moment is perfect to give some tips and help you get started.

Also maybe you used the #introduceyourself tag and more hivers come with tips and tricks so the first steps won’t be that difficult. Still take your time because we are so diverse it will take some time to understand and earn.

I was welcomed with good advice too when I started so here I am just returning the favour. I know that Hive may seem very overwhelming right now but don't worry. After a few blogs and write ups you will be a great blogger and contributor, just stay away from texts that aren’t yours.

A great tip is getting discord. Discord will for sure help you and get you talking to other hivers without going to comments on blogs. It’s free and quick and alongside hive very helpful to have. If you don’t have discord already view this blog:

If that’s is not your wish and you have any questions just ask your questions on any of my blog posts and I'll be more than happy to assist you with whatever questions you may have! I may know the answer. If not I will for sure know a hiver who does know the answer

Very important is to never give up any off your passwords , they are yours! Never give them up!!

To blog I use Peakd and Ecency .
Ecency also has an App , I use it and it is great, it gives you insight on what is happening in your account, and on my phone I am never behind on the things I want to see or read.

App is available for free for iOS and android.
For discord Ecency here is your free invite:

https://discord.gg/qPRgm69AT9

Maybe great to also join the terminal , the newbie help channel in Discord :

https://discord.com/invite/paeMUMkaXd

and visit @heyhaveyamet to visit more newcomers that onboarded hive.

That was it for now, Good Luck, Have fun and I wish you loads of writingsuccess on hive and see you around ! :)

GREETZ
Britt ❤️

Welcome to the Hive community @favoritefavour!
We sincerely hope you find everything you are looking for and have found a new home here.

Seven suggestions to consider:

  1. Guard your passwords carefully, and only publish with the posting key,
  2. Use your active key only for wallet transactions, Keychain, Peaklock, and Hivesigner,
  3. The master password and the owner key are only used to reset compromised passwords,
  4. DO NOT lose your password or keys; copy and store offline,
  5. Do not publish other people's work, be it photos or written, without credit, and be sure to source all of your work, even if it is your own.
  6. An introduceyourself tag is used only once , and
  7. DO NOT OPEN any links in memos or comments that you do not know who they belong to. If it sounds too good to be true it probably is, so the old saying goes. There is nothing free here.

I found you because @brittandjosie and @jamerussell from @heyhaveyamet presented and promoted your publication to get more exposure and help you grow faster.

If you find yourself overwhelmed and need some guidance, or if you have any questions, there are informed Hiveans available who can help you; you can click to go to The Terminal in Discord here:

Have fun and happy Hiving!
