Sean Bienvenidos, el día de hoy les presento un Paso a Paso de cómo elaborar a una mujer, ¿Cómo hago su cuerpo? ¿Cómo se produce la luz y la sombra? Haremos entre ver las respuestas en este Blog.

Proceso creativo // Creative process
Les seré sincero compañeros, me levante una mañana, mire mi ordenador y dije:
- ¿Cuáles son las medidas del cuerpo ideal femenino?
Después de un momento largo le atine a uno de mi agrado, por lo que opte por estrenarlo, quería hacer a una mujer ángel ofreciendo abrigo al espectador, imaginarme a mi realizando aquella idea me causo tristeza.
Pero sin moverme de mi asiento, decidí concentrarme en la gran cantidad de modelos que hay entre mis archivos, opté por hacer un personaje sin tomarme seriamente sus rasgos, pero con el concepto medieval. Y aquí lo tienen.
I'll be honest with you fellas, I woke up one morning, looked at my computer and said:
- What are the measurements of the ideal female body?
After a long moment I found one that I liked, so I decided to release it, I wanted to make a woman angel offering shelter to the viewer, imagine me realizing that idea caused me sadness.
But without moving from my seat, I decided to concentrate on the large number of models that are among my files, I chose to make a character without taking seriously their features, but with the medieval concept. And here it is.
Paso a Paso
1. El fondo // 1. The Backgraund
Para empezar, escojo un fondo gris y apagado para evitar que mis ojos se cansen por el brillo de la pantalla.
To start with, I choose a gray, muted background to keep my eyes from getting tired from the brightness of the screen.
2. El Boceto // 2. The Sketch
En este segmento, me preocupo por ubicar al cuerpo en la imagen y revisar el tamaño de las extremidades (torso, piernas, brazos, etc.) tal como pueden ver en la imagen, lo elaboro mediante cubos, en ellos coloco parte del esqueleto, para a partir de allí agregar el resto.
In this segment, I take care to place the body in the image and check the size of the extremities (torso, legs, arms, etc.) as you can see in the image, I elaborate it by means of cubes, in them I place part of the skeleton, to add the rest from there.
3. El Cuerpo Completado // 3. The Completed
En esta parte me ocupo de completar la figura del paso anterior, de esa manera puedo dibujar por encima la ropa, con menores probabilidades de equivocarme. Les comparto este segmento con fines educativos, aunque no lo parezca.
In this part I complete the figure of the previous step, that way I can draw the clothes on top, with less chance of making a mistake. I share this segment with you for educational purposes, although it may not seem like it.
4. El Lineart // 4. The Lineart
En este paso, repaso las líneas que me agradan y también me concentro en añadir la ropa y los accesorios. Que, ¿Cómo supe que ponerle? Buscando imágenes de ropa medieval en internet, siempre es bueno en caso de perder “la inspiración”.
In this step, I go over the lines I like and also concentrate on adding the clothes and accessories. What, how did I know what to put on it? By looking up images of medieval clothing on the internet, always good in case I lose "inspiration".
5. Lo Colores Base // 5. The Base Colors
Como este en dibujo en blanco y negro, agregue varios tipos de gris para dar algo variedad a la hora de colocar las luces y las sombras.
As this is a black and white drawing, I added several types of gray to give some variety when placing the lights and shadows.
6. La Sombra // 6. The Shadow
En este segmento, me empeño en realizar simple sombras realistas, con las cuales opte que comunicaran volumen y “espacio”
In this segment, I strive to make simple realistic shadows, which I chose to communicate volume and "space".
7. La luz // 7. The light
En esta parte mediante pinceladas blancas, le añado la luz y, atreves de ella intento remarco las partes que deseo que observé el público.
In this part, using white brushstrokes, I add the light and, through it, I try to highlight the parts that I want the public to observe.
