My relaxed HAIRfidence
Hello ladies
If you have long and silky hair or even short (as long as it shows its original length itself and doesn't shrink When washed, I dey envy you o😄) you don't knw what gem you've gotten until you see my virgin hair 😂
I've always envied Indians and Koreans and
always had the determination and pray to visit their countries to ask them for the secrets to their full, variant, longer and silky hair (I know it's funny😄 buh seriously I wanted to maybe still do sef😁)
This is an example of a long virgin hair (peep as she has to stretch it to give us the lengthy look)
growing up my hair was so full, dark and long compared to my mate's (about 8-9 inches) but I was not satisfied bcos over here our hair (if not relaxed) will be like elastic and shrinks at will(does not show actual length at sight except if stretched) and my scalp hurts too whenever I'm making my hair so, I decided to relax it to get rid of the pain now truly in it's relaxed form the pain is eradicated buh it's suffers split ends and thin strands (Nothing comes without its price right?😀)
I have to cut to this length to get rid of the split ends which actually never ends😁 (deep down I'm always pained thou)

Because of the harsh weather in this part of the world, our hair health is kind of complicated and seem difficult if not given utmost care and attention, and to do that you are going to spend more if not more than skincare routines bcos that's where u will need products including buh not limited to the likes of essential oils( olive, rosemary, coconut, jojoba and the likes), deep conditioners, protein treatment and even tools like straightening brush, dryers, steaming cap and so on, all these are not something u can get with little stipends (I'm talking hundrends of dollars)
This one is still shorter physically buh I'm sure it's longer than it appears
Look at how shrinked this looks and btw it doesn't mean it's not healthy
Now, I'm thinking of transitioning it back to natural hair again (which is more expensive to keep btw buh if it'll boost my HAIRfidence I won't mind. You can tell me what you think below🥲
As women, we often envy to see others beauty but that's normal. You have to try to love yourself more. Maybe by trying to take look mirror and adding positive afirmative words. In fact, every lady is beautiful with own characteristic.
Korean did many hair care and not cheap. I think you have great hair, you just need to take care more, and learn how to make homemade hair care through YouTube I think 😊

Source? Source? Ugh you killed my spirit. LOL. I saw "HAIRfidence" and I was excited to see that your hair (the first image) is so long and was going to happily 'chastise' you for still complaining about shrinkage, then I saw "source".🤦🏾♀️😩
Anyway, we've got kinky hair and it's amazing as it is. It's normal to want something you don't have but our kind of hair is special and can be like theirs if we want. But theirs can never be like ours no matter what they did. See? Up side.
I wouldn't trade my hair for theirs if it looked like the one in the first or last images though. Different folks, different strokes.
Oh and I must say, the standard of beauty that is people with that sort of hair is misplaced. #blackdontcrack 😄

Buh it doesn't mean I don'ts value that my small one too o, come and see me if I wantu trim slit ends🤣🤣 it'll be as if it's my money tree my stylist want to trim down😅

Honestly I love Lengthy hairs but presently am going on low cut, not because my hair doesn't grow but because it takes a lot to maintain healthy hair.
