RELEASE THAT AXIE

So many useless Axies! Since adventure got halved, and it might even get halved again, this new Lunar New Year event looks like a wonderful idea. "Burn" an Axie in exchange for a limited edition land item. Axies cost $50 right now, while the cheapest land item goes for as low as $60. Easy ten dollar proffit? Probably more, because $60 items on sale are surely useless when compared to an event item.

AXS is as low as $66 right now, so it's a wonderful time to breed if you already have staked some AXS. Otherwise, it might come off as a loss. At the time of writing this post, 0.5 AXS + 1800 SLP costs $66, so buying one of those crappier Axies in the marketplace for $50 is still a better idea. That's a nice way to free up some of those worthless 0 damage Axies none of us would use, even for adventure mode.

Players have exactly one month until the event is over. If we want to participate, all we have to do is hit that release button in an Axie's marketplace page, as shown in the image above. Not only we get an item, there's also a ticket for all 3 ongoing raffles, where we might win incredibly rare land items or hit the jackpot for 5 origin Axies!

Not only we get rid of all the worthless Axies, this event should help SLP price from sinking while it's active. Hopefully lands will finally get released when this is all over. If at all possible, I'd like to release at least 10 Axies during the course of this event. I'm pretty sure "limited land items" are going to be worth more than $100, so I want to participate in this event.
