If hive authors watch this video, everyone earns more money

Like myself, many hive authors struggle to get good upvotes, despite their best efforts. We write away, often on a daily basis, and while sometimes we seem to gain a little more traction, we eventually lose it again and again, never really staying on track. That's because we also rarely have any idea of why we gained traction at those moments in the first place. We want to grow, but we don't know how.

And then there are the readers who have the power to upvote us and let us earn through our work. They see us loosely writing, sometimes hitting good marks, but more often than not they see us simply missing the point. Readers and upvoters want to be engaged by our posts, but they're left feeling let down most of the time.

This is bad not only to regular users but also to HIVE investors because if people aren't happy, the platform doesn't thrive, it drives less money, and so they earn less money. Although letting users find their own path to glory feels easy, everyone is reaping less rewards because engagement is less valuable. Unenjoyable engagement is terrible for a social media platform.

Voting rings only come up because people give up on getting readers to engage with them. After they've tried their best, what can they do to earn if there's no one there to give them helpful pointers? There's better incentive in leading a voting ring than standing still - at least they're earning something. But that surely leaves them very unsatisfied with their own work. After all, they've also initially come to hive in an attempt to thrive as professional writers. They were, at least at some point, very interested in what hive has to offer. It's just that they've given up on it.

However, no one gives up on earning money as a writer because there's hope. Hope has always been there! It's just that there hasn't been anyone who could properly communicate what you can do to reach the appropriate set of skills. I.e., surely you've seen someone talk about what "THE COMMUNITY" wants, but you've probably failed to understand what they mean because you just don't know the language code they're communicating in, unless you're a PhD or have good expertise in social sciences in general.

I'm here to tell you that it's possible for you, as an average writer, to thrive, as long as you both put in the effort and do your best to understand the following video:

This workshop led by Larry McEnerney, Director of the University of Chicago's Writing Program, is called "LEADERSHIP LAB: The Craft of Writing Effectively". It explains what writers must do to reach professional success as an academic author. Although it's originally targeted at PhDs, that lesson actually covers everything anyone needs to know when they want to earn money for their freelance work as a content producer. That's what we hive authors, really are: content producers. That video covers our needs to perfection. You should watch it, and you should recommend it to everyone you know who's also an author on HIVE.

To prove my point, you should see how any of my other published works not about NFTs (such as this article about how plants feel pain) and then compare it to the one you're reading right now. You'll quickly realize how much more engaging this one is, because it's captured your heart as a hive user, as a hive author, as a hive investor or as someone who cares about hive's integrity and value. I've given you a problem and then gave you a solution on how to fix it.

Posts like this are what you want all over HIVE. Get as many people as you can to watch Larry McEnerney working a miraculous presentation in that video. You and everyone else who's on the same ship as you will reap more rewards than ever before.

Great follow up piece.
I saw this video the other day and thought it should be included with your video above. Or are they contradictory? 🤔🤔
Either way they are both good videos with some really good advice.
Maybe I'll do a comparison piece.
🤔😁😁
