"Dye Pot" a 50 word story written using the Freewrite prompt. Humpbuckle Tales 12

"Closed: Order of the Town Council."

The sign is taped to the door of The Dye Pot.

Molly puts her arm around Chloe.

"Your sister?"

"And her husband. Their hatred grows stronger every year."

"We'll fight this."

"They have so much money and power."

"We have something more potent : love."

This is the twelfth in the series of Humpbuckle Tales.

I am writing a collection of fifty word stories that can be read independently, but if are read together will tell a bigger story.

This is for my own amusement, although I hope they will entertain those who read them!
