Cashless policy affects the sales in the market

As Nigeria decided to operate cashless policy in the country has causes a great issue in the sales of goods in the market. People have been complaining right from the time when there is closure for the old currency to be used and most people who went to the bank to save their money were unable to collect their money because limit has been set for collection of money in the bank daily and weekly has this has greatly affected the buying and selling in the market.

People were unable to go to market to buy goods so the market is constant and were unable to make profit because people were unable to make withdraw and even to make transfer it has been a great issue and the network is really bad.

I work in a bank this will really affect the illiterate in the market.we are having great issue with them. Our bank told us to go out to talk with the market women and we find out that not all of them have a bank with any commercial bank so it is difficult to on board them into the system. So we are during some sort of awareness to inform them . Some accept us while some feel like we want there money but i believe time will tell.
