The market is located in Ilorin metropolis Kwara state. And is one of the most popular ,well known and patronize market because the prices are reasonable and things are very cheap.

For the things we bought in the market we use 2days for getting all the goods. We bought all kinds of things such as foodstuffs, daily needs drinks all kinds of
things.

On the first day we went there and spent 6hours moving from one place to another buying all kinds all things and we use wheelbarrow to pack all our goods to the park where we boarded a taxi which took us home. Also on the second day we went there we left home around 11am to 8pm before we left the
market .it was really stress days for us.

That is so much work to get a shop up and running. Is it far from the new Market (oja-tuntun) The further it is, the better, yes? Are there many markets like hers in the area? That is quite enterprising of her to start a business in these down times! Good for her! That is nice of you to help her make this happen.

Will you be working with her there or are you just helping out?

It has been a few days since you posted, not sure how your post never came up at all, I just saw it this morning when you posted it in the comment section! I have no idea why!

Anyway, tell me, which has been the item that has moved the fastest? How does your Aunt figure out pricing? A certain percent of what she paid, or is it about the popularity of the item? The store looks nice and I like that everything is in order. It might be good to get a few items that are inexpensive like chips and items that will take up shelf space to look fuller. :) Everyone loves a full-looking place. It offers options. Good luck to your Aunt!

Thank you for being a part of #MarketFriday! I cannot tell you how pleased I am to see so many participating every week. I have learned so much about the different cultures of the world, especially the small things that go unnoticed except by those looking for them. Life is interesting, wherever you are, whatever you are doing. I hope the week has found you healthy and happy, as we all look to prosper in our way of life.

#MarketFriday began as a way to reach out across the globe and learn about different cultures through their markets, especially local markets and farmers' markets, and eventually branched out and evolved over time from straight shopping to a cultural affair as it highlights how we differ and then again, how much we are alike. We have become a melting pot of culture, but, it is still the Rituals, Festivals, food, architecture, and even your language/languages that separate us... Along with the fact that is these things are normal for us. There are unwritten rules that rule our social behaviors. I see this as allowing for increased tolerance between cultures and nations, and opportunities to come together on an even playing ground. A strong culture can be beneficial to a country as it promotes unity, especially during a crisis, peaceful debate, and open dialogue. I have learned so much about all of you and it has been an amazing experience. I can only hope that learning about each other can help us work together for a peaceful world.

Fridays are all about the #MarketFriday Challenge! Looking to take part in it? Here is how:

Thanks so much for your comment . The new market is very far from the shop and around that shop there are many shop like hers but what makes us to have more upper hands than them is that we have varieties of things there and also we buy in bulk so we are planning to lessen the price of our goods than their own so as to attract more customers but there are some good that we can do that for because their is not much gain on it like biscuits , candle, brush and the likes we will sell it the same amount .

Also i plan to help her start the business because i know it will not be easy for her because she’s new to the business but i cant wirk there because the amount she is planning to pay is too small for me because i am planning to gather money for myself and bery soon i will have my own family suppose it is when am still in my early twenties i would have gladly do that but now i got something chasing me . The money she agreed to pay is almost half of our minimum wage which is #15000 ($30) per month and during this time of inflation it would buy much things.

Before we started we did some survey asking about the goods that move the most and we also bought different varieties of goods which they can choose from. Moreso it is a student area that is students live around that area so we bought things that student love so much which they buy everytime such as drinks, cookies, foodstuffs, books, pens and things they can use to cook food.

There is a friend of hers that is good in business and has a shop like hers but very big followed us to the market so that they will not sell at high price and also help her to write down the peices of some goods inside a big book and the other goods which is not written ,she quickly call her friend and ask for the price .

when we opened many people were just looking at the shop because it was in the night that we brought all the goods . Some people told us that if we brought it during the day they can come to Steal the product so we use iron to protect the front and the side of the shop.

And really love having words with you and thanks for the hive given. Thanks so much.
