NO DEJEMOS QUE EL FUEGO DEL AMOR SE APAGUE
LET'S NOT LET THE FIRE OF LOVE GO OUT
Tengo un amigo que está pasando por problemas en su matrimonio y me ha hecho muchas preguntas como por ejemplo una de esas preguntas es que hago yo para que a pesar de los problemas siempre estamos felices.
Esto me llevo a meditar y hacerme algunas preguntas porque quizás yo por mi parte también no e seguido avivando las llamas del amor y estoy pensando que todo esta bien.
I have a friend who is going through problems in his marriage and has asked me many questions such as one of those questions is what do I do so that despite the problems we are always happy.
This led me to meditate and ask myself some questions because maybe I for my part also have not continued to fan the flames of love and I'm thinking that all that well.
¿Será el matrimonio como los cuentos de hadas? Y se casaron y fueron felices para siempre ¿Realmente será así?
Will marriage be like fairy tales? And they got married and were happily ever after Will it really be like that?
Lo cierto es que todos quisiéramos que fuese así, que para poder llegar el matrimonio pasamos muchos obstáculos y cuando los pasemos todos por fin vamos a ser feliz para siempre; bueno eso solo ocurre en los cuentos.
No quiero decir que no se puede ser feliz con la persona que nos casamos, lo que quiero decir es que como somos dos personas totalmente diferentes siempre vamos a tener puntos de vista diferentes, y eso hará que tengamos ciertos roses con nuestra pareja.
The truth is that we all would like it to be like that, that in order to get married we go through many obstacles and when we pass them all we will finally be happy forever; well that only happens in fairy tales.
I don't mean that we can't be happy with the person we marry, what I mean is that as we are two totally different people we will always have different points of view, and that will make us have certain differences with our partner.
Hay dos claves que para mí son indispensables en el matrimonio: el perdón y la humildad.
Los dos debemos de aprender a perdonar y la humanidad entra en juego porque cuando somos humildes vamos a reconocer que también cometemos errores y nos gusta que también nos perdonen.
There are two keys that for me are indispensable in marriage: forgiveness and humility.
We must both learn to forgive and humanity comes into play because when we are humble we will recognize that we also make mistakes and we also like to be forgiven.
Siempre le tenemos que recordar a nuestra pareja que aunque vamos cambiando físicamente, nuestro amor es el mismo; los detalles y las atenciones no se deben pasar por alto tanto en el hombre y la mujer.
Las mujeres son delicadas de echo Dios las compara con un vaso de vidrio, ósea frágil, esto da a entender que hay que tratarlas con mucho amor.
We always have to remind our partner that although we change physically, our love is the same; details and attentions should not be overlooked in both men and women.
Women are delicate in fact God compares them to a glass of glass, that is fragile, this implies that we must treat them with love.
Reflexión: aunque no estemos en un cuento de hadas, hagamos todo lo que este a nuestro alcance para que nuestra pareja sienta que es el mejor cuento de hadas que esta viviendo.
Reflection: even if we are not in a fairy tale, let's do everything in our power to make our partner feel that this is the best fairy tale he/she is living.
