How I met my Husband - POB WOTW

That beautiful Saturday morning, I woke up very tired as a result of the hangover from Friday night karaoke with friends. It was already sunny yet I felt like staying in bed all day.

I just had a break up from my two years relationship. It was completely heart breaking. I left for my National Youth Services Corps NYSC (a compulsory service after university graduation) barely two months and my boyfriend was already cheating on me. Well, like goes on and the best way to get out of depression was to party weekends after a work stressed week.

That morning, while lying on the bed I picked my phone to browse through my Facebook messenger which am not used to as a result of the usual piled up messages. The moment the page opened my eyes caught a message that was titled my wife. I blinked and was like wait who is this??? Lo, twas a guy I barely met 7 years ago briefly at a friends party. The content of his message was " I really don't want to waste time disturbing you, I just want to inform you that you are my wife" What! Who does that? I screamed in laughter, wonders can never end oh, see this guy. I told my room mate and we both laughed about it.

To shorten my love story, three months after we were madly in love with each other though thousand of miles apart as we were in different countries. We shared lots of stories about our past, our future and what we will like to name our first son even though we haven't actually had a date. It was a very romantic season of my life.
We had different time of the day yet we talk till the middle of the night even when he had to go to work the next morning. What a feeling!

I never knew I could move on from my previous relationship so fast. It was as if I never date my ex, I completely forgot about him.

Ten months after we started talking he came back to the country so we could get married and be together. That afternoon I was at the airport waiting for him on his arrival date, not knowing he had arrived and was standing at a corner looking at me lol. Trust me, it was the most romantic day he proposed again at the airport and of course you know my answer. We had all the moment you can ever imagine in love.

We got married the following month
Today, we have two amazingly phenomenal sons.

Then I realized, it doesn't matter how long you have been in a relationship. All that matters is loving the right person, even when things are crazy and not rosy you still pull through.

It will be four years anniversary by December. Trust me it's still as spectacular as ever. Though we have those moments we scream at each other but it has only made our love wax stronger.
