CHANGE OF PRICE IN THE MARKET

Hello Hive, good day to us all and happy weekend, hope we are enjoying our weekend. The rate at which things are costly these days in Nigeria is getting too much.

My daughter has been crying to my ears that she wants to eat puff puff and cake, so instead of buying it for her I thought of preparing it so that others will be able to eat out if it also.

So on getting to where I will buy ingredients, especially flour I was told it now #750 from #600. I was amazed and don't know what to do because I am with just #600.

Though it has been long I get some thing like that but the price is high.

I pray God help us in this country Nigeria and always provide money for us to be able to buy what will want.

That's a huge jump. I guess it's the same everywhere even here in our country. Everything is pricey.

I am sorry that it is so expensive there. It is also expensive here and in the rest of the world. I am not sure what we are going to do if the prices don't go down or at least stabilize!

My apologies for being so late this week! As you can see from my post, I was looking at a piece of property, probably three hours away from where I live and I had to go back several days in a row (spending all day there.) Six hours on the road and being there for hours took my entire day away, and here I am on Monday doing #MarketFriday! Sorry!

#MarketFriday began as a way to reach out across the globe and learn about different cultures through their markets, especially local markets and farmers' markets, and eventually branched out and evolved over time from straight shopping to a cultural affair as it highlights how we differ and then again, how much we are alike. We have become a melting pot of culture, but, it is still the Rituals, Festivals, food, architecture, and even your language/languages that separate us... Along with the fact that is these things are normal for us. There are unwritten rules that rule our social behaviors. I see this as allowing for increased tolerance between cultures and nations, and opportunities to come together on an even playing ground. A strong culture can be beneficial to a country as it promotes unity, especially during a crisis, peaceful debate, and open dialogue. I have learned so much about all of you and it has been an amazing experience. I can only hope that learning about each other can help us work together for a peaceful world.
