Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge!

Hello everyone. Today I am going to share my battle.

Battle details: I played with death splinter and my opponent used a death splinter against me. Water and Life teams were banned from this battle.

Battle Ruleset

It was a battle with 38 mana cap and two rules:

Explosive Weaponry: All monsters have Blast ability.

Wands Out: Only monsters with magic attack may be used in battles.

Discussing My Lineup

Summoner, MIMOSA NIGHTSHADE level 3. This summoner removes healing abilities from my enemies, lowers enemy ranged attack power and gives my team Void ability.

First Position, CTHULHU level 2. This powerful mage has Stun ability.

Second Position, PHANTOM SOLDIER level 3. I picked this mage because I wanted to reduce enemy magic attack.

Third Position, ANCIENT LICH level 3. This monster can gain more health with Life Leech ability.

Fourth Position, REVEALER level 4. Another mage with Stun ability.

My Strategy & Tips

In this battle for me most important was battle rule that only allowed magic attack monsters to be played. I knew that my opponent will use mages so I did all I could to lower enemy magic attack. To achieve this goal I used MIMOSA NIGHTSHADE as my summoner and PHANTOM SOLDIER. I also used a few monsters with Stun and hid ANCIENT LICH in the middle of my team so it could gain more health.

Analysis of The Battle

My strategy workeed well- I was able to greatly reduce enemy magic attack and after that my opponent's monsters became basically useless. One of his monsters still was able to poison my tank but it was not really dangerous. So I won.
