Fiery plays The Blood of Dawnwalker part 4 blind: A painful lesson.

Last time we went looking for our father Pieter in the mines. We found a badly injured survivor. We and our friend Vladimir wanted to help him but then Coen lost control of himself...and drained that survivor to death. After that we remembered that Brencis(vampire lord) turned us to a vampire. Then we fall to the depths of mine. That fall had to kill us or at very least brake our bones. But that was not enough to seriously hurt Coen in his new vampire form. His body recovered in no time. After that we wondered in blinding darkness with no clue how to get out of the bottom of the mine. Finally we found a way out. Along the way we learned more about our vampyric powers. We can heal by draining other living beings of their blood, jump great distances and walk on walls and ceilings. After we came out of mine we defeated some Brencis human soldiers. After that we tried to save Vladimir from a burning house. But as soon as he went out Coen again lost control and killed him. Then we confronted Brencis. He beat us with no effort and tried to drink our blood and drain our life but it seems that he REALLY disliked the taste of our blood. He was so surprised that he was not even sure what we are. After that Brencis impaled us to a tree and left us to die from a sun light. After that we woke up in healer's Anca house. She found us impaled. Almost dead. But our body healed again. Also once we woke up it was already dawn. And we were human once again. Neither Coen or Anca could answer the question that bothered even vampire ruler Brencis. Just who the hell Coen is?

This time we went to search for our family with healer Anca. We found one of Brencis human soldiers. He was killed once we saw him. Anca stayed to see if he had any documents/ orders that could help us find our family. At the same time Coen went to his home and it was completely empty. Family was gone. Perhaps forever? Coen fell into despair. But then Anca came and talked to us. Coen was not sure if it is still possible to rescue his family. Anca saw our despair and decided to offer us a glimpse of hope. It was not a guarantee. But a small possibility means that it is not zero. So we gladly agreed to listen to her offer. The dead soldier had no papers on him. But Anca knew a way to force even dead to talk. It turns out that she was a witch. And could share her power with us. You can be a wizard Harry Coen!

So we agreed with Anca offer. She stabbed our hand and we gained new powers are called witchcraft. Now we were able to question the dead body. We just had to find few objects that could help it remember. Dead soldier revealed twisted plans of Brencis. He ordered our family and some other villages taken to the castle and be drained to death during his coronation. The coronation will take place in thirty days. We have just thirty days and thirty nights in order to save our family. And since doing quests and side quests progress time in this game this means that we will have to be picky about what tasks we want to do. So far I love that about this game. Perhaps once we will get closer to end of time it will feel stressful but for now I think that this addition of a timer is awesome. After questioning dead soldier we buried him and a few other bodies. Anca suggested that we need to grow stronger and find allies before going after Brencis. We could learn more witchcraft powers from ancient books. And Vladimir was getting silver from a miller so perhaps he could help us contact more rebels?

We and Anca we went to clear a path from village. This took really long time and a night came. And just like that we once again turned into vampire. Our bloodlust scared Anca but this time Coen managed to control himself and did not harm her. Hopelly she will remain safe in the future as well. Because she somehow reminds me of Yen from the witcher(my favorite romance in gaming). Anca also said that we could weaken Brencis by going after his generals and vassals first. But she also said that if Brencis will find out about us still being alive and trying to oppose him Brencis will hunt us down. After that we climbed on top of the church tower and looked for more points of interest.
