My pyrography works: Journey part 3.

avatar

In this video I show the image after burning it on wood. Now I need to color it with colored pencils and acrylic paints. After that I will finish this piece by applying double layer of varnish. One this piece will be completed I will show the end result.

I thought that it would feel repetitive.

oh is that part boring? i feel that the burning part is the most special part about pyrography if not its not really too different from drawing and coloring?

not boring for me. none of the parts are boring to me. but I thought that more of the same would be boring to the viewer. you probably right- burning part is most unique. Still I can't imagine that many people would want to watch me burn for hours. Also uploading a video takes very long time so it was quicker to finish without filming.

At times I leave it for a bit but I am burning most of the time. My biggest worry during burning is that burner will stop working as it costs around 20 eur. Luckily normally they last a good while.

It's ok then I understand why. It wouldn't be too great to have to buy a new one D:

Now I see how the process looks like, you must use a lot of tools in your workshop ☺️

I start by drawing on wood, then I burn the image on wood after that I color it with acrylic paints and/ or colored pencils. Finally I finish a piece by applying double layer of varnish.

This is an amazing work you put here.
Do you have plans to paint it or let me say colour it?

Thank you. Yes, at this point I have already colored it and applied first layer of varnish. In a few more days it should be done.
