Hola en esta oportunidad les contaré lo que fue el Encuentro del Sistema de Orquestas de Cumaná y Araya, del cual mi hijo forma parte. Este encuentro se dió gracias a la invitación que nos realizó el profesor Armando Marcano Director del Núcleo de Araya a los integrantes del Sistema de Orquestas de Cumaná, específicamente a los 2do violines con el objetivo de dictarles un taller, con estas clases el profesor busca que los chicos adquieran mejores técnicas y destrezas a la hora de ejecutar el violín.

Hello, this time I will tell you about the meeting of the Cumana and Araya Orchestras System, of which my son is a member. This meeting was given thanks to the invitation that Professor Armando Marcano, Director of the Araya Nucleus, made to the members of the Cumaná Orchestra System, specifically to the 2nd violins with the objective of giving them a workshop, with these classes the professor seeks that the children acquire better techniques and skills when it comes to playing the violin.

Para este taller asistirían 10 violinistas, pero por diversas razones ajenas a su voluntad, 8 no pudieron asistir, pero como ya estábamos en el terminal de ferrys dispuestos a ir al encuentro en Araya mi hijo Osman y su compañera Nikol decidieron decir presente en esa actividad.

For this workshop 10 violinists would attend, but for various reasons beyond their control, 8 could not attend, but as we were already at the ferry terminal ready to go to the meeting in Araya my son Osman and his partner Nikol decided to be present at this activity.

Para trasladarnos a Araya debíamos hacerlo por vía marítima así que nos fuimos bien temprano al terminal marítimo para ver porque medio de transporte nos podríamos trasladar hacia Araya, debido a que teníamos varios medios. Podría ser por la lancha del INEA o por los llamados tapaitos. Resulta que la lancha del INEA tenía hora de salida 11am y ya era demasiado tarde, así que nos fuimos a los tapaitos y en vista que no llegaba un bote directo Araya tuvimos que irnos por manicuare y luego de Manicuare trasladarnos en camioneta a Araya.

To move to Araya we had to do it by sea so we went very early to the maritime terminal to see what means of transport we could move to Araya, because we had several means. It could be by the INEA boat or by the so-called "tapaitos". It turned out that the INEA boat had a departure time of 11am and it was already too late, so we went to the "tapaitos" and since there was no direct boat to Araya, we had to go by Manicuare and then from Manicuare we went by van to Araya.

Al llegar Araya nos esperaba en la escuela “Juan José Ávila” el profesor Armando Marcano quien era el encargado de dictar el taller. Esperamos a los integrantes del núcleo de Araya que faltaban y luego el profesor procedió a dictar el taller.

When we arrived in Araya, Professor Armando Marcano, who was in charge of the workshop, was waiting for us at the "Juan José Avila" school. We waited for the missing members of the Araya nucleus and then the teacher proceeded to give the workshop.

Luego de ese ameno y productivo taller el profesor Armando nos llevó al lugar donde funciona la sede del núcleo de Araya, para posteriormente dar un paseo por la hermosa playa de dicha localidad, “Playa Castillo”.

After this pleasant and productive workshop, Professor Armando took us to the place where the headquarters of the Araya nucleus is located, to later take a walk along the beautiful beach of the town, "Playa Castillo".

Gracias al apoyo de dicho profesor se pudieron afianzar lazos y compartir experiencia formativa entre el Núcleo Araya y el Núcleo Cumaná, con este taller formativo a este grupo de violinistas.

Thanks to the support of this professor, it was possible to strengthen ties and share training experience between the Araya and Cumaná Nuclei, with this training workshop for this group of violinists.
