Introducing Myself to The Hive Family

Self-Improvement and success go hand in hand. Taking the steps to make yourself a better and more well-rounded individual will prove to be a wise decision — Frank Long.

Just like Frank Long has said, my main motivation for taking this step of joining the Hive Blockchain is to improve my blogging and writing skills. But before I go any further, my name is Philips Ebuka. I am from the south eastern part of Nigeria, Enugu state to be precise. I am a graduate of physics from the great University of Benin. The quest to give explanations to concepts and also proffer solutions to challenges is the reason behind my conviction to study physics. And currently, I am enjoying every bit of it.

My love for writing has been obvious since childhood. I often preferred being by myself with just my pen and paper. And this has been the driving force towards the choice of career I have chosen. I am a researcher specialising in the field of Electrochemical Energy Storage and Conversion — batteries and supercapacitors. As a result I have authored and co-authored more than three book chapters in reputable publishing companies. So far so good, I can beat my chest and say that I have contributed my own quota in the improvements of science.

As someone already into writing, hearing there's a platform that encourages writing without writers going through the stress of owning a website, is impressive. Also getting to know that I can share my opinion and understanding of things, made the Hive Blockchain irresistible to me, as I am yet to hear about such an amazing platform. I am convinced that taking this step will pay off in many ways, especially in the aspect of self-improvement.

Aside from writing, I have other hobbies, I am a lover of football and I support the Chelsea Football Club. Oftentimes when I am not writing, I either play football, watch a match or even play football games. I enjoy it.

Music is another thing that gets me. I tend to work at my best when I have music in the background. Especially Reggae music. I love listening to it. Most times, my best way of expressing my joy is through music. I often sing and dance when alone and feel happy.

I am really happy to be joining the Hive Blockchain. I am here not only to create amazing contents but to learn from and grow from the wonderful contents of the amazing minds in this platform. I promise not to bore my network with my contents but to entertain them with intriguing, impactful and well-thought contents. And if the first few posts contradicts the above promise, kindly bear in mind that my main aim of joining the Hive Blockchain is for self-improvements.

The type of contents I will be creating will be about all aspects of life, be it science, fiction, football, and cryptocurrency. Thank you all for welcoming me. Can't wait to start learning from every one of you!
