Are Philosophy and Financial Education necessary in the education system? [ENG-ESP]
¿La Filosofía y la Educación financiera son necesarias en el sistema educativo?
Saludos amigos de Hive, hoy les traigo una reflexión sobre dos temas que me parecen sumamente importantes y que por lo menos en mi país estan totalmente ausentes en el aula de clases.
La educación es uno de los ambitos de la sociedad que menos reciben recursos por parte del estado, a la política tradicional poco le importa el futuro de los niños y jóvenes, ya que lo que importa no es una educación liberadora que convierta a los jovenes en ciudadanos, sino lo que buscan los politicos es conseguir adeptos logrando que el común de la población no pueda ni sepa pensar por si mismo, y se contenten con ser pensados por otros.
Invertir en educación es muy poco rentable ya que en función de temporalidad, invertir en educación es abonar el terreno para que otro coseche el fruto, y gracias al abundante egoismo político, invertir para que otro partido en un futuro tenga los beneficios no es algo muy agradable. Y ese pensamiento es lo que tiene tan atrofiado la educación o por lo menos es lo que parece en la muchos de los países, por lo menos en esta región del mundo.
Personalmente siento que este problema que ha trascendido décadas, ha conseguido que áreas como la filosofía y la educación financiera sean areas del saber desaparecidas de todas las aulas. Lo puedes notar muy fácil, son muy pocas personas que al preguntarles sobre el funcionamiento del dinero o algún tema filosófico en general puedan responder correctamente.
Creo que tanto la educación financiera y la filosofía deben ser materias que ocupen un puesto en el pensum académico desde la educación secundaria hasta la educación diversificada.
El mundo necesita ciudadanos con criterios sólidos, que reciban una educación liberadora, necesitamos un mundo donde ser persona sea una prioridad. Ahora bien, no podemos depender de un tercero como lo es el estado.
Una de las bondades del Internet y la globalización es que toda la información ya esta allí alojada en la web. Quizás sea mucho pedir que la filosofía y la educación financiera formen parte de las materias a cursar en el sistema educativo, pero, creo que todos debemos cultivar en nuestros jovenes tener una curiosidad por estos asuntos que para mí son tan vitales como el estudio de las matemáticas o la historia.
Personalmente puedo decir que crecí con una deficiencia en el ámbito financiero, y aunque mis padres no me brindaron una educación financiera sé que no fue su culpa síno que ha sido un defecto del sistema. Aunque, si cultivaron nociones básicas como el ahorro, de nada vale tener cultura del ahorro si vives en una economía que esta sumergida en la hiperinflación.
Me parece imperativo a nivel financiero saber nociones como:
El Ahorro
El Capital
La Inversión
¿Cómo funciona el dinero?
La Deuda
El Credito
Y a esto añadirle:
Criptomonedas
Blockchain
DeFi
Token
Y muchas otras nociones que necesitamos a nivel financiero...
Ahora bien a nivel filosófico necesitamos que los jovenes aprendan filosofía, y no estoy hablando de aprender conceptos vacios o que fue lo que dijo tal o cual filósofo, sino que lo verdaderamente importante es que cada joven aprenda a pensar por si mismos. Poder guiarle en el forjado de sus criterios que no tienen que responder a un estandar social o lo que el colectivo decida por influencia del mercadeo tóxico.
La filosofía desde una temprana edad puede ayudar al niño en desarrollar no solo criterios, sino que puede cultivar amor por las humanidades que estan en crisis hoy en día y sin duda son lo único que jamás podrá se suplantado por una maquina. La filosofía aporta además un desarrollo intelectual holístico, los que pasan por una buena educación filosofíca son menos propensos a adoptar conductas de rebaño, o no por lo menos de manera conciente.
Estudiar filosofía es intentar comprender el horizonte del pensamiento humano en su historia, es básicamente comprender por qué somos como somos. Estos ultimos años, en diferentes paises de la región han venido reduciendo las horas de filosofía en las escuelas e institusiones. Por lo menos en mi país, Venezuela la educación filosofíca es inexistente, y aun más inexistente es la educación financiera.
De modo que a la pregunta inicial, responderé con un profundo sí, necesitamos que la filosofía y la educación financiera esten en todas las aulas, pero si no, creo que puede ser un gran aporte pensar en programas extracurriculares para educar a los niños y jovenes en estas áreas.

Greetings friends of Hive, today I bring you a reflection on two topics that seem to me extremely important and that at least in my country are totally absent in the classroom.
Education is one of the areas of society that receives the least resources from the state, traditional politics cares little about the future of children and young people, because what matters is not a liberating education that turns young people into citizens, but what politicians seek is to get followers making the common population can not even know how to think for themselves, and are content to be thought by others.
Investing in education is very unprofitable because in terms of temporality, investing in education is to fertilize the ground for others to reap the fruit, and thanks to the abundant political selfishness, investing so that another party in the future will have the benefits is not something very pleasant. And that thinking is what has so stunted education, or at least that is what it seems in many countries, at least in this region of the world.
I personally feel that this problem that has transcended decades, has made areas such as philosophy and financial education to be areas of knowledge that have disappeared from all classrooms. You can easily notice that very few people, when asked about the functioning of money or any philosophical topic in general, can answer correctly.
I believe that both financial education and philosophy should be subjects that occupy a place in the academic curriculum from secondary education to diversified education.
The world needs citizens with solid criteria, who receive a liberating education, we need a world where being a person is a priority. However, we cannot depend on a third party such as the state.
One of the benefits of the Internet and globalization is that all the information is already there on the web. Perhaps it is too much to ask that philosophy and financial education be part of the subjects to be studied in the educational system, but I believe that we should all cultivate in our young people a curiosity for these subjects, which for me are as vital as the study of mathematics or history.
Personally I can say that I grew up with a deficiency in the financial field, and although my parents did not provide me with a financial education, I know that it was not their fault, but rather a defect of the system. Although they did cultivate basic notions such as savings, there is no point in having a savings culture if you live in an economy that is submerged in hyperinflation.
I think it is imperative at a financial level to know notions such as:
Savings
Capital
Investment
How does money work?
Debt
The Credit
And to this add:
Cryptocurrencies
Blockchain
DeFi
Token
And many other notions that we need at a financial level...
Now at the philosophical level we need young people to learn philosophy, and I'm not talking about learning empty concepts or what this or that philosopher said, but what is really important is that each young person learns to think for themselves. To be able to guide them in the forging of their criteria that do not have to respond to a social standard or what the collective decides under the influence of toxic marketing.
Philosophy from an early age can help the child to develop not only criteria, but can cultivate a love for the humanities that are in crisis today and are undoubtedly the only thing that can never be supplanted by a machine. Philosophy also brings a holistic intellectual development, those who go through a good philosophical education are less likely to adopt herd behaviors, or at least not consciously.
To study philosophy is to try to understand the horizon of human thought in its history, it is basically to understand why we are the way we are. In recent years, in different countries of the region have been reducing the hours of philosophy in schools and institutes. At least in my country, Venezuela, philosophy education is non-existent, and even more non-existent is financial education.
So to the initial question, I will answer with a profound yes, we need philosophy and financial education in all classrooms, but if not, I think it can be a great contribution to think of extracurricular programs to educate children and young people in these areas.

Saludos César, estoy de acuerdo contigo con este tema es muy importante que en el sistema educativo hablen a los jóvenes de educación financiera y de otras cosas también Importantes para la vida que no las voy a decir para no extenderme pero un niño o un joven que viene creciendo y desarrollando estos concepto básicos y después a un nivel más alto, creo que serían en un futuro dueños de sus propios proyectos de vida por tan solo el hecho de tener criterio y solides a la hora de tomar decisiones.
No sé mucho de filosofía o quizás nada pero creo que es también importante para abrir una amplia visión al que sucede a nuestro al rededor. Está muy interesante este tema pero para terminar creo que el sistema educativo se tiene que renovar o hacerse de nuevo con temas que te ayuden para tu día a día.
