People Complaining about working Remotely and Vice Versa

Due to Covid most of the corporations out there were "forced" to change their working style to Remote. After the pandemic ended most of these companies switched back to either working onsite or they adopt a hybrid system. Only some corporations decided to keep the remote option available to their employees.

Ofc most people want to work entirely remotely or Hybrid at best and there are many reasons for that. For instance, they prefer to sleep more and not waste time commuting which would take up to 2-3 hours per day. At the same time if you don't have to commute then you save some money which depending on the country and the way of commute can be a pretty decent amount.

Also, if you have some quiet in your home then you can work way more comfortably than working onsite and you also wear more comfortable clothes as well. As someone who has worked both onsite and fully remote, i would say that i prefer working remotely by far.

I can understand though, that some play may prefer working onsite or with a Hybrid model as they don't have that much quiet at home, or their internet is bad or they simply would prefer communicating with colleagues directly and believe that they are more productive that way.

What i hate the most though, are people who keep on complaining just because they want to complain about something. For example, i know people complaining about working fully remotely and at the same time when it's raining or it's pretty hot outside they prefer being at home.

They don't want to understand that if you were working onsite or even hybrid then you would have to go to work even if it's raining or even if it's too hot outside.

That isn't a rant about working remotely or not, it's basically about human nature itself. We tend to not be grateful for the benefits that we have and we always find something to complain about even if it's not an actual problem. If you are complaining about working remotely then simply go and find a job that is onsite or hybrid and problem solved.

We need to be grateful sometimes and have the ability to understand the real problems that we all face like for example the retirement limit that keeps on going up and up. The toxicity in the working space, especially from some Managers and the micro-management ofc. Tons of actual problems but that's one aspect of the human nature i guess...
