Talking about Cryptos and Stocks with Friends

I don't know about you guys but everytime i talk with friends regarding cryptos and stocks i get excited. I know some things about crypto but i have no clue about what is going on with the stock market even though there are some similarities.

All things need a beginning though and below i will analyze the reason i feel excited about these kinds of conversations and i believe many will understand and even be in my shoes. Many years ago when i found Steem and then Hive i get very excited about the opportunities cryptos present.

The main two reasons that i got hooked up with cryptos were the freedom i had in my wallet as i was the bank now and above everything that i could literally earn money without zero investing and that's mostly happening here on Hive.

I could not comprehend or believe this at first, that i actually had to invest only my time but here we are now! As i said at first i was skeptical in case of any scam alerts and i did not want to share any info with my friends or family because of course i did not want this to turn out and be a scam and everyone loses their money and started blaming me.

When i realized that it's not a scam i tried to bring more people here Steem and later on Hive, both family members and friends. You see i did not expect one thing though. THAT NOBODY WOULD TRUST ME. Literally, i felt stupid and ashamed at the same time.

I could not believe that literally nobody will believe me and consider crypto in general as a scam. Also, it was funny because it's not like i asked for their money to invest, i present an opportunity where literally they could try it out for themselves with zero investment and zero $$ to me!

Out of 10-15 people, only 1 tried Steem (when no Hive existed) and after a year he cashed around 200$ and never came back, because it was too tiresome for him which i get it. After a couple of years, another joined the crypto game from which also he show an interest to the stock market and for around 4 years now he is into the stock market first and he also holds a tiny percentage of his portfolio in cryptos as well.

Most of the other when BTC was 60k they wanted to get in but i told them to do what they want and that i don't have any time to help them out. Of course they were there for the quick profits but i knew that if i had helped them invest back then, now with the bear market not only they would have sold everything losing money ofc but there would also be negativity around our relationship.

Thus, i am very excited when i get to talk with that one friend that listened t me and find his own way around investing and it's funny because today he was talking about the same thing. How he is trying to convince his family and girlfriend about cryptos and stocks but instead they either consider this a scam or listen to older people with a relevant degree but no knowledge who say "avoid this stuff, nothing of these works".

Isn't it amazing that you prefer listening to people that you know of, that aren't close to you but for example have a degree in accounting or marketing to someone that's actually a member of your family or a close friend that is actually earning money out of this?

Even if we think of it and as someone with a BA in Business Administration literally we never learn anything close to investing the way it's happening today. If you want actual advice because you have trust issues with your friend or family go ask someone who does this for a living!

What's your Opinion? Has this happened to any of you?
