Don't Feel Sorry For Me, Coz I Feel Sorry For You!

avatar

Today my anti-crypto friend called me up and tried to mock me because of the market condition. He tried to portray that he felt "sorry" for me but it was a fucking "I told you so.." moment for him. Little did he know bears are temporary just like bulls are. Might take a few months or years to get out of the shitshow but we will eventually reach new ATHs and then some lows and then ATHs and so on.. 🤞 Zoom out the chart and you will understand that Bitcoin is only going up!

Crypto Noob Me: I used to tell everyone how awesome crypto and blockchain are. That was my way of paying it forward. During bull runs, everyone seemed interested and jealous of what I do as a side hustle. So they tried to get their hands dirty at ATHs and got burned when they faced their first bear. Most of them find reasons to blame me but it was only their decision.
Crypto Pro Me: I have stopped telling people about what I do because nobody cares. They cannot handle the bear like I do. They don't understand the value being created in this space as I do. So why bother telling them about how I earn money and risk my privacy in the process? I never told anyone about crypto to flex my knowledge or portfolio. So there's no point in talking to people who don't understand.

Don't Feel Sorry For Me.png

Rich Mindset

If you have your money in the banks or in cash, then you are getting poorer everyday. You can basically do the following to multiply it over time:

  • Firstly, invest a little in crypto or stocks to understand how the market works. Go through some bears first
  • Next, start a business if you can with or without that money to have a continuous income stream
  • Then use the money your earn from business to further invest in real estate, more stocks, or crypto

Please note that wealthy people don't spend their money on luxuries but use it to own assets. The more they own, the wealthier they get. It sounds simple but 99% of the people do not practice this IRL. You can be the 1% if you understand this simple fact. Ownership is a very important thing if you want to be rich.

I'm pro-crypto and I think anyone who is still pro-crypto right now is absolutely delusional.

We're done. Unironically. Coinbase collapses next. Binance after. CBDC by december.

you need to get out now and take care of your family. these ponzis are unravelling.

Really?

Did the Internet stop because the internet stocks, most which were garbage, crashed and many companies went out of business?

CBDC by december.

For who? The Fed is at least 4-5 years away from that. If the USD has no CBDC, the world is not going to run on one.

Nah... it's just a passing phase. Surely companies and projects will fall but that happens in real life too when the economy is screwed. But nothing is done.

The projects that will fall are those that have no real purpose and are not at all necessary.

I agree, those will go down first during the bear market.

lol one question. Does the tech work? Are people using it? Do people need to use it? If your answers are yes, then that’s all the assurance you need.

You just inspired my next video post.. you're right no token is necessary but....... bitcoin myk or ubi tokens.. why? ubi is necessary but it works better outside government hands but you still need the distribution method outside of govt control for it to operate at it's most optimal level.. can you see why it's different and why people need it?

Fuck all tokens. It's all manipulated. It's all a scam.

It's funny how people anti-crypto can't wait to say 'I told you so' when the market is down. Like, have you been praying for my downfall? 😂 Jokes on them though, I really do feel sorry for them

I have stopped telling people about what I do because nobody cares.

This is a habit I want to adopt as well because these folks thinks they are needed for crypto to survive, no interest to learn but wants to be lazy.
If only that friend of yours understands crypto, shame the poor friend.

Investing in crypto is not for everyone. It requires patience, intelligence, and imagination. It also require an intermediate level of financial literacy. So I am not proactively promoting crypto assets. I help people who want advice though.

I don’t know how much I have to keep explaining to them that I invest in crypto so I don’t have to always borrow money from people. The bear market is inevitable so is the Bull market, but we stay grinding.

Obviously your friend is never going anywhere.

To start, laughing at others about losses in markets shows someone to be a nothing when it comes to investing. We all take losses at times, it is part of the game we are in.

As for crypto, the markets are just that, markets. They go up and they go down. Ultimately, they do reverse.

Right not is a risk off trade. We are seeing liquidity being short and only getting worse. There could be another 4-5 months of this before we see things bottom out.

So just keep filling the bags is my suggestion.

The guy just showed me his true colors!! I wouldn't bother myself with what he is going to say or do from now onwards.

This will be my third bear market and like anything else in life presents huge opportunities to people willing to take a little risk.

It can be scary and definitely painful but the only thing that has changed is your paper value. What you can cash out in dollars compared to how many assets you hold.

It's not unique to crypto but it's a lot more volatile since we are still early days.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Haha. The biggest risk people take is to not take any risks at all.

That's why I would never look at my coins in terms of their current value. Only the future value that I have in my mind, which is also my exit point to take profits for the first time.

It's not unique to crypto but it's a lot more volatile since we are still early days.

It's our cue to buy more. xD

Same with me, I stopped talking about crypto to my friends, they always ask me how I am when crashes occur. I say thanks I am good, building on my future wealth. I don`t need a lambo or a yacht... I need a solid income when I am not able to work for my income. Until then I will just accumulate as much as I can!

Fuck lambo and yacht. That's a great strategy @solymi. I have a similar to accumulate more assets over time. They will give me passive income. Would rather spend my precious money to hire a trustworthy manager who would help me grow and protect my assets even more.

I stopped a few years ago too. The thing is, they are not needed here. If you manage to convince someone who otherwise didn't want to participate, you will see them fail eventually. And you will be the one to blame.

Let the crypto industry grow naturally, without force. That way only those will be here who wanted to. Much-much healthier community.

I've been investing in crypto for four years now. Like most people I began as a wide-eyed, get rich quick hoper with absolutely no idea what crypto was. I invested in xrp, went down 50% in two days and started to realize that unless I educated myself I was nothing more than whale bait.
Four years later and the amount of wrong information, misconceptions, illusions, delusions and flat out lies both inside and outside the crypto sphere is mind-boggling. so I can appreciate and share the OP's attitude completely; I stopped trying to sell anyone on the potential of crypto a couple years back. Fuck it, let them pile in two or three years from now when the big money has already been made.
And make no mistake, the truly awe-inspiring, mind-bending and mind-blowing bull run that will happen post-regulatory clarity will make everything that's happened so far look like chicken feed.
Every bull run attracts schemers, scammers, newbs and wild-eyed get rich quick hopers like I was. And during every harsh bear market most of them leave crypto with their money in someone else's pocket, swearing that crypto is dead.
Crypto has never been more alive - just look at the venture capital that continues to be raised, look at the partnerships that continue to be forged between traditional finance and crypto, look at how many big players are quietly assembling their own crypto teams and their own crypto products, just waiting for the moment when the regulatory landscape allows them to start investing.
If you're new to crypto and panicking, here's my advice: turn off your screens for two weeks, because nothing that happens is going to be very pretty or make much sense. Let the headless chickens have their squawk, let the market bottom out and then be prepared for whiplash when it bounces back, as it always does.

Damn man! You have summed it up quite beautifully in this comment. And such great advice at the end. Love it. Really appreciate you sharing your valuable experience with all of us. I made this post to spark the conversation among us who are here even when the markets are fucked - grinding and kicking ass on daily basis. I guess everyone should spend time in the market like you and I did to understand what's going on. This is quite normal in crypto and as more adoption happens, liquidity will grow too and we might not see such insane highs and lows. We are just getting started.

I ran into similar situations and I bet most cryptocurrency holders have. Its the reason why I'm very selective about telling "normies" to invest in cryptocurrency. I now tell anyone who is asking me about investing in cryptocurrency to do some research on how wallets work and then I hit them with the, there is no way to recover your password. You lose it and most times your money is gone forever.
