The Roost
A while ago, I said that Mum Guinea and her chicks roost in a tree in our garden. I have long wanted to show you. Last evening I came in at dusk and heard their happy, purr-like cheeping as went to close the gate.
All three were there, one already nestled under mum's skirts. If you look carefully, you will see brown feathers emerging from the Mum's grey plumage.
I had to be quick because they were not happy with a two-legged, feather-free presence in such close proximity to their communal bed chamber.
Until next time, be well
