A Taste of Summer

avatar

Yesterday was Monday. Again. Funny how that happens. Once a week. Every week. So, it was our usual meatfree supper. Often vegan. As it was last night.

The highlight of this (not) coleslaw is that the red cabbage was our own gardenloot. One's homegrown harvest does most definitely taste better.

Served on flatbread (soft sourdough rolls for seconds) and hummus with fresh garden mint and coriander.

And yes, the carnivore had seconds. Again.

A perfect spring or summer supper.

If you'd like the recipe, you will find it here.

Until next time, be well

How satisfying AND much more tasty having one's own produce on the table! This sounds like a delicious meal.
