Both sides and fingers crossed

This was 5am this morning. Sunrise on a cloudy day. Yes, I was awake looking out of the window. Contemplating the weather. It's preoccupying more of my mind than the average British citizen.

Back to this morning. The light, again, was exquisite and I did manage to capture it.

from the same window, looking towards the sunrise. In never fail to marvel at how different the light can be. Oh, and look at the residual mud from Monday's deluge.

Speaking of rain, I mentioned, yesterday, the warnings of more dire weather and how we're all wedded to the weather apps on our phones. This is what mine is showing:

Yes, I know I could have resized the screenshot (well, I did - a little), but I am so delighted with what it's showing. By the time the gates open, the rain should be all but gone! We might be setting up in the rain, but it won't be cold and we also know that if the probability is less than 50%, it's usually dry. Until it isn't, hahaha!

So, my fingers are very much crossed!
