Monday mist and ...um...not much musing

Misty Monday sunrise 1

Yesterday was a happily uneventful Sunday. I was able to begin the catch-up I need to do: for the last few, month ends have been a real crunch. This month's no different. Although I am learning how to manage these things. As far as one is able.

I slept better last night than I have in a while. Sometimes that's not a good thing: my brain is slow to wake up, anyway, so good sleep makes it even slower! Anyhow, Monday was waiting - with a long list. Before I got to it, my usual peering out of the window as part of the morning rituals, were prettier than the usual pictures. I couldn't resist taking this series of photos.

Views from the top

So, I took these, before I headed downstairs:

Those photos were taken over about half to three quarters of an hour. The changing - and different colours - of the morning sky were mesmerising this morning.

Then I headed to the office and, as usual, the aloes on the other side of the front door greeted me. Again, they yelled

Alo(e)! We need to be photographed!

Sorry, a bit lame, but this is why:

Closer inspection showed puffs of white: spiders' webs

More webs

You know what happens when you look a little further than the end of your nose? You see more. And so it was. Behind the aloe, and on the fence.

Catching more rays to find more webs

Perfect Web

The photographs hardly do them justice. The tiny drops of dew looked just like sparkly diamonds.

A good way to begin Monday, I thought.

Until next time, be well

If this post might seem familiar, it's because I'm doing two things:

  • re-vamping old recipes. As I do this, I am adding them in a file format that you can download and print. If you download recipes, buy me a coffee. Or better yet, a glass of wine....?
  • and "re-capturing" nearly two years' worth of posts.
I blog to the Hive blockchain using a number of decentralised appplications.
  • From Wordpress, I use the Exxp Wordpress plugin. If this rocks your socks, click here or on on the image below to sign up.

  • Join Hive using this link and then join us in the Silver Bloggers' community by clicking on the logo.

  • lastly, graphics are created using partly my own photographs, images available freely available on @hive.blog and Canva.

As much as I love the colours of the sky the cobweb is my favourite picture!
I hope things are slowing down a wee bit for you now Fiona:)

Mine too! And with my cell phone and no crops, edits or filters.

Thank you, yes, things are settling a little. 🤗
