Trying to catch up...

Yesterday (Sunday), I woke up and knew I had feet and a spine. I had slept like the dead and longer than I usually do and so late that we had breakfast for lunch.

I confess that I took to the couch as soon as I'd finished the tidying up and picked up some crochet work I'm revisiting.

It was supposed to have been an all white garment. I'm off white at the moment, and am thinking of transforming the motif into this and putting them together as a gilet. Let's see.

I am so thrilled with this year's garden loot.

Even though the garden has taken a pasting with the weird weather of late: wind burn and a jungle of weeds. That isn't stopping the bounty.

The brinjals are "aubergining".

There are beans by the bucket load (not pictured), tons of tomatoes and a growing stash of strawberries for which I have a plan.

Post script I am behind with my responses to comments: you are on my Tuesday to do list. I hit my desk this morning with an urgent (not lifethreatening and potentially happy) issue that had to be resolved, so I've been a little distracted. Tomorrow, though, will be a little easier.
