img_7192.jpg

Hello lovely people…
Its been such a long time since the last i share post about food. So in this chance, let me share it. So, me and my friend that i bonded with during my Labuan Bajo trip planned to meet up and hang out in Bali, since she’s a Bali resident. I am so lucky because i can have more friends in many other city, Bali is one of them. We planned to meet up and she said that she want to help me move to another hotel. But, one of our other Labuan Bajo trip friend called me and asked me to hang out. I was surprised, because he supposedly only transited for a bit in Bali. But he told me that his flight getting delayed. I am so happy and we set our date for having a lunch date immediately. We dont know where to go and we dont know what to eat so my friend that live in Bali suggest that we eat ramen. There is one of her favorite ramen plus its pretty close to the airport, so we dont have to be scared that our friend thats in transit will miss his flight.

This is the place. The name is Red Dragon Ramen. This is my first time went to Red Dragon Ramen but this is not the first time that i saw or know about them. The last time i went to Bali, i passed this ramen store a lot but i have never had the chance to try them. Luckily my friend suggest to bring me here so finally j will be able to taste them and feed my curiosity about this place.

This is what the place looks like. So simple. They dont have too many sitting area. They both have inside and outside sitting area. Me and my friend decided to just sitting outside even though the weather is scorching hot. I love hot weather, very refreshing.

This is their menu. They have two choices of broth which is pork and chicken. My friend said that for ramen, the best broth are the pork broth. But i am not a 4 legged animal eater, so i will always eat chicken and never will eat pork. Most of their menu is ramen and there is so little choice of other food even if its rice. One of my friend want to eat rice because he will go through flight and just want to give something safe for his stomach that he will sure will not upset his stomach. Its so hard for him to find the rice.

This is what my friend order. Its cha siu don + coleslaw + ice tea. This menu originally use pork as the meat but since that friend of mine didnt eat pork too the waitress kindly offer to change the menu with chicken . That is why its chicken in his plate.

This is what my friend order. Its Yokohama Ie Kei Tonkotsu Shoyu Ramen (Kuro). Its pork since mg friend really love eating pork.

Its my order. Its Spicy Chicken Creamy Ramen (AKA). I asked to use a vegan noodle with if since i am curious as to know what it will be taste like. Obviously, what can i expect, i think that i will like the normal thin noodle that supposedly goes along with AKA compared to this vegan noodle. Aka supposedly have creamy coup but the creaminess is not the kind of creaminess that i expected so i was kinda disappointed with it. I ended up not finishing them too.

For the drink, just usual whenever i went to japanese restaurant. I will always order ocha because i love ocha. Since the weather is hot, i ordered cold ocha and ifs always so refreshing.

Last but not least, i order this as the desert. Its matcha snow ice. The matcha pudding on top if it really delicious. I love it more than the ice below them.

This is the receipt of all of our food. I think that the price that they have here is pretty reasonable and mang will say cheap for japanese food.

Hi @firayumni - I enjoyed reading your post about ramen in Bali. I've never been to Bali but I do love eating ramen... Of the dishes you described, I would be like your friend and go for the Yokohama Ie Kei Tonkotsu Shoyu Ramen!

I hope to go to Bali one day so it's good to know I can enjoy ramen there as well as here in Japan. :)
