One Cinema That Feels Like Few Other Things In One

Hello my dear friends…
Its been so long because i was so busy with my life, but deep down i always feel the thirst to write. Today’s sunshine is so pretty and i feel so good while not being too busy so i gather all of my will power to make some time to write. The other reason is because i feel like i really want to share my unique experience to everyone here while asking about your opinion and experience about similar situation. The place that i will talked about in this post is a cinema. All of my life, i have never thinking much about the design of one cinema. In my head, cinema is a place where i can watch movies, and only that (maybe buy good popcorn too sometimes). I have never thought that going to the cinema will gave me experience other than that. I must admit that as i got older, my preference changed and i prefer a more comfortable waiting room and seating area. Still, all of them are minor details that i spare no mind to it. For the comfort, i will always try to watch the movies in “premier” or “gold class” section which doubled the price of the normal one. The comfort that we gain is expected because we pay for it and that is why i think of them as minor things. So, what if the comfort comes for free? How was the cinema in your place, guys? Is it a comfortable place to watch movies and even hang out?

This is CGV cinema in Teras Kota Mall. When i first saw it from afar i can noticed that the CGV is quite big. The CGV in the city i used to live is pretty small so i thought that all CGV was like that. In this section, we can see that they’re so uselessly spacious. Its also quite an interesting thing that they called the sections beside the ticketing and popcorn section is “Sports Bar”. I have never seen one like that. The Sport Bar section wa right beside the ticketing section, but we can see the drastic difference on it. If we look at them separately like how i take the picture of them separately like this, we will not think that they’re in the same space. Its just a small changes of color and some decorations yet the vibe it gave off can be totalky different like that. Room design is always an interesting and fascinating topic for me. The pink neon lights, the brick walls, it makes the place totally looks like a bar.

This is the sofa for waiting in the center of the place. As we can see, its so spacious they basically can put something else in there. Well, in a way its a good thing that they give a lot of room near the ticketing area for in case there is a popular movie coming out so the place will not feel so crowded at the time. I think that we all can notice that they put the thought on the color of the sofas. I like that they put a different color in there.

This is their Gold Class area. I cant enter it because the movie that i watched didnt available in the gold class rooms so maybe next time i will try to watch in their gold class theater. To be honest, their regular class already gave of gold class experience so i dont mind just watching in their regular theater in this cinema.

Before we enter the regular theater area, we will be greeted by this sign. Its CGV Sports Hall. I have never seen a cinema with a sport hall, have you ever seen one? This is so interesting and fun.

They have a basketball court in here and while its only a half of field but its still so spacious. This is a perfect place to get some sweats with friends while we’re waiting for our movie to be played. Waiting for movie will never get boring in here.

Not only a ring, they also have a benchers. Its totally looks like a basketball court with this. I love that they use a lot of “wooden” theme in their place because when it combines with their yellowish lights makes the whole place looks more luxurious. I have never seen basketball court and benchers looks this clean and luxurious.

They also have billiards area. This cinema makes people want to bring their whole friends in here because the fun we can do in just one place that they cater in here. I want to take a note at the designer’s effort. All the lights, the material, the color, its all put together nicely in all the right place that can give this place a touch of luxurious, homey, fun, all at the same time.

For the regular theater waiting room, it looks similar with the one i had in my city so its nothing new for me. Still, it looks neat right? I know some of other cinemas that didnt put effort in numbering their room and makes cinema looks old and boring.

Last but not least, this is what looks like inside of the theater room. I was surprised because they use a color scheme and it looks so pretty. I usually didnt like small cinema like this because it can feel too crowded for me but this color scheme that they have in here makes up the lack of it. In other cinema that i have been too, usually the seat color is just one color. While red is my favorite colors, its the color that usually i can find in cinema seats and to be honest it all get too boring with time.
