Zeen Kopi, The First Coffee Shop That I Visited In Bali This Time

I think its been such a long time since the last i talked about coffee or coffee shop, the last one would be when i was in Labuan Bajo and found the only Starbucks that they have in there. Mostly its because i was alone and coffee shoo for me is a perfect place to hang out with friends. Dont get me wrong, i often visited coffee shop by myself too. But, it was when i was in my city. When i feel like i need some space from people in my home. Now, i am alone in my hotel room most of the time, i dont need the space at all. In contrary, i need the companion now. So, i kept trying to make a new friend when i travel here. One of them asked me to hang out in a coffee shop. Only then i have realized that during my almost two weeks stay in Bali, i have never once visited coffee shop. I remembered how much I like the coffee shop that I visited the last time i came to Bali, which is in May.

At first, my friend asked me to meet in 25:pm Coffee. A coffee shop that i have never been to in my life but i have heard about the a few times before. Since i never been to that coffee shop, I excitedly said yes to that. I rent a motorbike for myself so me and my friend promised to just meet on the spot. When i was close to the place, my friend told me to change place. I dont know why but my friend decided that we just hang out in another coffee shop near that. Its close anyway so i dont mind at all. Nah, this is the coffee shop that i will share with you guys in this post.

Its only 5 km from the hotel that i stayed. I went there with the motorbike that i rent. Luckily the sky is clear that night eventhough its raining season in here. We met up in 9 pm. Its pretty late at night but i am just very happy to have someone to hang out with me. Being alone all the time started to draining my mental health too.

This is what the coffee shop looks like. Its the typical coffee shop that i quite like. Most of the place is outdoor so its the perfect place to hang out in the night time for me. I dont know why but i like to sit in outdoor when its night time and i like to sit indoor when its the day time. I just feel the vibe more when its night time, like i want to be free without the four walls around me. I think the not so bright design that they have is really pretty. I think that i might said this few times already but i dont like bright coffee shop. The coffee shop with dim light like this make our conversation with our friends became more intimate and fun.

I also noticed that in this coffee shop, they sell many phone accessories. Mostly, its from Apple. And not only accessories, i saw that they put a phone in display too. So maybe they also sell phone in here. Its pretty unique but it means that you dont have to worry if your battery is low when you were here. Ah, i didnt took pictures if it but they also sell merchandise of their coffee shop like tshirt and such.

Theses are their menu. Contrary to what i usually can find in the coffee shop in my city. They have very limited choice of non coffee drink here. I got confused. But, i choose to drink coffee tonight, i dont even know why but i know that night i slept so late, do you think that maybe its because of the coffee?

When we order, we will get this number and the server will deliver our order as the number that we got. Number 30 is for my friend and mine is number 36.

This is what I ordered, i choose to have iced brown coffee signature. The reason why i choose to have this is because i asked the receptionist for the recommendation. As usual, i asked which coffee is sweet because i cant drink bitter coffee. She kindly recommended me two menu, one is caramel macchiato and the other is this brown coffee. So i asked, what is in brown coffee. She said that they will coffee, milk, and brown sugar in there. I dont know why but i never drink coffee with the mix of brown sugar. So, i said yes to that. Also, in my mind i know that i often drink macchiato so i want to try something else. Well, i quite like the taste, the milk taste is pretty light and its not overbearing for someone that doesnt enjoy milk like me. The brown sugar gave just a hint of sweetness to the drink. Its enjoyable especially because i can finish the whole glass. If i have another chance, i will try their other drinks. Maybe their caramel macchiato.

This is my bill, the price is 30.000 idr.
