How To Make A Realistic Drawing Of A Tiger (White Charcoal On Black Paper)
Hello Everyone.
Today I decided to make a post to share how to make a realistic drawing of a tiger with a white charcoal pencil and black paper. These two medium are best awesome for wildlife drawings because of the details of fur, hair, skin and scale they can allow you to capture. Although like every other type of drawing, alot of patience is required to reduce mistakes and get the proportions of the subject right.
Here are the steps in the drawing;
Materials;
White charcoal pencil and bkack cardboard paper.
First, you'll start by making an outline sketch of the tiger face. This would act as a guide when you want to start adding fur details.
Next, you began shading and adding fur details to its skin starting from its eyes and areas with reflected light. This requires so much patience and alot of attention to details.
Keep shading and adding fur details to mouth, jaw, ear and remaining parts of its body.
Finally, added its whiskers for a more realistic look.
The reference photo for this drawing was found while surfing the internet with no direct link to the photographer. Please feel free to acknowledge the photographer if known.
Thank you for reading and viewing my drawing. Stay safe and enjoy the rest of your day.
