Art and Criticism - I present my new painting - "Novus Ordo Seclorum" [ENG-ESP]

Art is undoubtedly like a palace with millions of doors, and each one opens you to a new perspective. Hello, dear friends, I hope you are all well. I want to share with you a painting I created after reflecting on many global issues. We are undoubtedly living in interesting times. I believe the world is going through a very strange period where, more than ever, it feels like everything is going to hell. I have read some analysts and philosophers, and I conclude that the world is on the brink of the abyss. So, with this in mind, I created a mixed-media work where I took the U.S. symbol of freedom and gave it new meaning by adding symbols. I'll talk more about the painting while I show a bit about the process.

El arte sin duda es como un palacio con millones de puertas y cada una de ellas te abre a una nueva perspectiva. Hola queridos amigos, espero que se encuentren muy bien, quiero compartir con ustedes un cuadro que hice luego de reflexionar acerca de muchos temas a nivel mundial. Sin duda vivimos momentos interesantes, creo que el mundo esta pasando por un periodo muy extraño donde más que en ninguna época puede sentirse que todo se irá al infierno. He leído algunos analistas, filósofos, y concluyo que el mundo esta al borde del abismo. Así que con esto en mente hice un trabajo con medios mixtos donde tomé el símbolo de la libertad de U.S.A. y le he dado un nuevo significado agregando símbolos. Hablaré más del cuadro mientras muestro un poco como fue el proceso.

Así que tomé dos palabra smuy importantes y entiendo son los valores que fundaron una gran nación, faro de las naciones, crisol de culturas. Alteré las palabras libertad y democracia, conviertiéndolas en algo muy diferente y es a mi modo de ver lo que sucede en el mundo. Lo descrito anteriormente esta encerrado en una cinta de rayas amarillas y rojas, todos sabemos lo que significan esos colores cuando vamos en la carretera. Esa misma advertencia es la que veo en el mundo, encerrado como este cuadro en un marco pintado de color negro.
