Cycling outside the city - Ciclismo en las afuera de la ciudad.

Hello dear friends who love bicycles and cycling, today I want to share with you my brief Saturday route, in general I go out riding my bike almost every day, but I consider Saturday my most special day, so I changed the route so I went to the east of the city, towards the outskirts and enjoy a bit of the scenery. It was a 9 km journey according to Google Maps. I think I will soon have to buy a device to measure distances correctly, however this time my calculations are very exact, I hardly do these long routes for me, so I felt a little fatigue, but I covered the entire journey very well. , I hope you like it.

Hola queridos amigos amantes de las bicicletas y del ciclismo, hoy quiero compartir con ustedes mi breve ruta de día sábado, en general salgo a rodar en bici casi todos los días, pero considero el sábado mi día más especial, así que cambié de ruta así que me fui hacia el este de la ciudad, hacia las afueras y disfrutar un poco del paisaje. Fue una travesía de 9 km segun Google Maps. Creo que pronto tendré que comprar un aparato para medir las distancias correctamente, sin embargo esta vez mis cálculos son muy exactos, casi no hago estas rutas tan largas para mi, así que sentí un poco de fatiga, pero todo el trayecto lo recorrí muy bien, espero les guste.

I left at 5:20 pm, the sun had gone down a little but was still strong, the good thing was that the streets were not very busy with cars, so I could go at the speed I wanted, so I rolled like a human bullet all the way. I took advantage of taking some photos, observing nature.

Salí a las 5:20 pm, el sol había bajado un poco pero aún seguía fuerte, lo bueno es que las calles no estaban muy transitadas por autos, por lo que pude ir a la velocidad que quisiera, así que me fui rodando como una bala humana por todo el camino. Aprovechaba de tomar algunas fotos, observando la naturaleza.

I took a less direct avenue, since huge trailers usually travel along the main one, and I'm terrified of them when they pass at full speed, so the avenue I took was quieter. On the way I took a photo of the Flor De Venezuela mechanical monument. This monument represents our country, and was taken to a contest a long time ago, obtaining good places. I tried to enter, but I was not allowed, since they do not allow bicycles to park, at night it is beautiful because they turn on some lights. I will show them to you later.

Me fui por una avenida menos directa, ya que por la principal suelen transitar trailers enormes, y les tengo pavor cuando pasan a toda velocidad, así que por la avenida que tomé todo era más tranquilo. En el camino tomé una foto al monumento mecánico Flor De Venezuela, Dicho monumento representa a nuestro país, y fue llevada a un concurso hace mucho tiempo obteniendo unos buenos lugares. Traté de entrar, pero no me fue permitido, ya que no dejan estacionar bicicletas, de noche es hermosa porque encienden unas luces. Más adelante se las mostraré.

A little further I arrived at my destination, a place known as Parque El Cardenalito, this park is actually a small mountain that functions as a viewpoint and at the same time welcomes travelers who enter from the east of the city. It has two monuments that represent our region, one of them is the Tinaja, this is a 3-foot vessel that represents the culture of our indigenous people and on the other hand a musical instrument known as Cuatro, this instrument is similar to a Ukelele but its The sound is more different and is a little bigger, it represents the musical culture of our city, which is known as the musical capital of Venezuela due to the number of artists and musical genres that exist here. The citizen who lives here and does not know how to play this instrument cannot be called a citizen.

Un poco más allá llegué a mi destino, un lugar conocido como el Parque El Cardenalito, este parque en realidad es una pequeña montaña que funciona como mirador y a su vez da la bienvenida a los viajeros que entran por el este de la ciudad. Tiene dos monumentos que representan a nuestra región, uno de ellos es la Tinaja, esta es una vasija de 3 pies que representa la cultura de nuestros indígenas y por otra parte un instrumento musical conocido como Cuatro, este instrumento es parecido a un Ukelele pero su sonido es más diferente y es un poco más grande, representa la cultura musical de nuestra ciudad, la cual es conocida como la capital musical de Venezuela por la cantidad de artistas y géneros musicales que existen aquí. El ciudadano que vive aquí y que no sepa tocar este instrumento no puede llamarse ciudadano.

I waited a few minutes and my favorite moment arrived: the sunset. As I mentioned before, this city is one of the few in Venezuela where you can observe the best twilights, a whole festival of colors that usually last well into the night, nowhere else are they seen this way. This is the reason why it is known as the twilight city,

Esperé unos minutos y llegó mi momento favorito: la puesta de sol. Then it was time to retire and return home, it was quite an experience, seeing the road so big and being on the limits of the city, a desire entered into me to want to go further and visit other places. I hope to do it soon, but I will do it when I have a helmet and am ready for longer routes

Then on the way back to my house late at night, you could still see the colors in the sky without any problem, without a doubt the month of March has started very well. And as promised, I was able to take photographs of the flower of Venezuela when it was illuminated. This flower has a mechanism that allows it to open its petals during the day and close just like a flower does.

Luego en el regreso a mi casa ya bien entrada la noche, aun se podían ver los colores en el cielo sin probloema, sin duda que el mes de marzo ha comenzado muy bien. Y como lo prometido es deuda, pude tomar fotografías a la flor de Venezuela estando iluminada, esta flor cuenta con un mecanismo el cual le permite abrir sus pétalos durante el día y cerrarse al igual que hace una flor.
