For my part, I want to share with you a Pokemon figure that I made of Bulbasaur, one of the 3 main Pokemon from the beginning of the series. Together with Píkachu, Charmander and ultimately Squirtle they form Ash's first Pokémon team. Bulbasaur is a plant-type creature that at the beginning of the series has 2 more powerful evolutions, these go hand in hand with the cocoon behind it that blooms until it reaches its final form. This figure is small and is made entirely from a soda can and held together with glue, I hope you like it.

Hola amigos, espero que todos se encuentren muy bien, especialmente que estén haciendo todo aquello que les apasiona, por mi parte quiero compartir con ustedes una figura Pokemon que hice de Bulbasaur, uno de los 3 pokemons principales de inicio de la serie. Junto con Píkachu, Charmander y en última instancia Squirtle forman el primer equipo pokemon de Ash. Bulbasaur es una criatura tipo planta y que al inicio de la serie cuenta con 2 evoluciones más poderosas, estas van de la mano con el capullo a sus espaldas que va floreciendo hasta alcanzar su forma final. Esta figura es pequeña y esta hecha en su totalidad con lata de soda y unida con pegamento, espero que les guste.

A few days ago I had a soda, one of those strange drinks that are very abundant now, it was a kind of very delicious tea, for obvious reasons I kept the can since apart from the fact that it was very large, it has more than half a liter of capacity, I I really liked its color and designs. With this in mind I thought it was a good idea to make a figure, and since I had made Charmander, it occurred to me to also make Bulbasaur, I would only need one pokemon to have the complete team. I prepared the can by cutting it in half and removing the bases, after which I turned it into a thin sheet, it is quite large, larger than the average cans.

Hace días me tomé una soda, una bebida de esas extrañas que ahora abundan mucho, era una especie de te muy delicioso, por obvias razones conservé la lata ya que a parte de que era muy grande, tiene mas de medio litro de capacidad, me gustó mucho su color y diseños. Con esto en mente pensé que era buena idea para hacer una figura, y ya que había hecho a Charmander, se me ocurrió también hacer a Bulbasaur, solo me faltaría un pokemon para tener el equipo completo. Preparé la lata cortándola por la mitad y retirando las bases, luego de eso la convertir en una fina lámina, es bastante grande, más grande que las latas promedio.

I made the head as if it were that of a chibi-style cat, so I drew a simple template and then glued it on top of the can. I carefully cut it out and shaped it with a ruler to bend the tabs and for the outline I used the tip of a pen without ink. Next I put glue and joined all the tabs, so that they were fixed and in place I held it with precision tweezers.

La cabeza la hice como si fuera la de un gato estilo Chibi, así que hice el dibujo de una plantilla sencilla y luego la pegué encima de la lata. Con mucho cuidado la recorté y le fui dando forma con una regla para doblar las pestañas y para el trazo utilicé la punta de un bolígrafo sin tinta. Seguidamente puse pegamento y fui uniendo todas las pestañas, para que quedaran fijas y en su sitió la sostuve con una pinza de precisión.

And continuing with the head, I also made the two ears in the shape of a three-sided pyramid. When I put them on the head I realized that it was looking very similar to a cat, but later I could correct those details to make it look like a cat. Bulbasaur.

Y continuando con la cabeza también hice las dos orejas en forma de una pirámide de tres lados, al ponerlas sobre la cabeza me di cuenta de que estaba quedando muy semejante a un gato, pero más adelante podría corregir esos detalles para lograr que se parezca a Bulbasaur.

Then I make the rest of the body, with a template which I shape the same as I did with the head, using the ruler and a pen, once I have it completed I begin to join the head with the rest of the body. Up to this point the figure is going just as I wanted it to come out, without deformities hehe which is the most important thing.

Después hago el resto del cuerpo, con una plantilla a la cual le doy forma igual que hice con la cabeza, usando la regla y un bolígrafo, al tenerla completada comienzo a unir la cabeza con el resto del cuerpo. Hasta este punto la figura va tal como yo quería que saliera, sin deformidades jeje que es lo más importante.

I make the ends in the shape of small squares, the front ones a little bigger than the back ones, I join them right in the place that was left hollow. If you look closely, the figure at the bottom looked as if we were making a car, and the wheels would go in the empty parts, in this case I placed the extremities.

Las extremidades las hago en forma de pequeños cuadros, las delanteras un poco más grande que las traseras, las voy uniendo justo en el lugar que quedó hueco. Si se fijan bien, la figura por la parte de abajo quedó como si estuvieramos haciendo un carro, y en las partes vacías irían las ruedas, en este caso coloqué las extremidades.

To finish, I made the cocoon using a darker green can, since that is how it appears in the original design, I made a 6-point star that I then joined at each end until forming a cocoon. Then I glued it together with the rest of the figure, finally, I drew the eyes and the nose and painted them with acrylic paint, in this way this Bulbasaur figure was finished.

Para finalizar hice el capullo utilizando una lata de un color verde más oscuro, ya que así aparece en el diseño original, hice una estrella de 6 puntas que luego fuí uniendo por cada extremo hasta formar un capullo. Luego la pegué junto al resto de la figura, por último, dibujé los ojos y la bica y los pinto con pintura acrílica, de esta manera quedó finalizada esta figura de Bulbasaur.

How do you like the figure? I have analyzed Squirtle and I think it is not that easy to make, but I think that if I put my mind to it I can achieve it, making this Bulbasaur I had some small accidents, when the cans are cut it is difficult not to get some small wounds, I do not use gloves because it is It's hard to handle the scissors, but I think I'll use latex gloves next time. Que tal les parece la figura? he analizado a Squirtle y creo que no es tan fácil de hacer, pero creo que si me lo propongo puedo lograrlo, haciendo este Bulbasaur tuve algunos pequeños accidentes, las latas cuando se cortan es dificil no hacerse alguna pequeña herida, no utilizo guantes porque es complicado manejar las tijeras, pero creo que utilizaré guantes de látex la próxima vez. Que te parece este Pokemon? te gustaría que hiciera otro?, ya saben que me gustan los desafíos, así que no duden en pedir algun modelo en especial jejeje.
