Desde los inicios de la cuarentena he notado que hay una creciente demanda en el mercado de videojugos que apuntan a un nuevo genero, o quiza no tanto a un nuevo genero si no a un tipo especifico de juego. Si es verdad que la mayoria de los jugadores esta cuarentena se inclinan mucho mas a los shooters como Fortnite o Call Of Duty pero hay un tipo especifico de jugador que busca otras experiencias: Juegos con mecanicas novedosas, multijugador ya sea competitivo o cooperativo y esteticas novedosas, todo eso y mas no viene de las grandes superproducciones si no que vienen del tipo de juego que es Among Us. Un juego indie exitoso con todas las letras.

Y es un caso muy curioso el de este Indie, porque resulta que lleva mas de dos años lanzado y hasta justo hace una semana y media es que esta experimentando un boom a tal magnitud que a dia de hoy los servidores del juego se encuentran en su tope y es muy dificil encontrar una partida, asi que decidi descargarmelo hace algunos dias y probarlo por mi mismo para ver cuales eran sus fortalezas ademas de una premisa interesante.

A successful indie game with all the letters.

And it is a very curious case the of this Indie, because it turns out that carries but of two years launched and until just a week and a half is that this experiencing a boom to such magnitude that to day of today the servers of the game they are in its top and it is very difficult to find a game, so I decided to download it ago some days and to prove it for my same one to see which they were its strengths besides an interesting premise.

El concepto del juego es uno muy sencillo a la vez que atrapante: hay una nave averiada en el espacio y los astronautas (tu junto otros 10) tendran que completar tareas para arreglarla, pero el giro de la historia reside en que uno de los jugadores (o 2 o 3 en algunos casos) es un impostor e intentara tanto sabotear la nave como matar a todos los demas jugadores que tendran que decidir en cada junta que tengan quien es el impostor.

Este juego es muy sencillo de analizar y es a la vez curioso en como dirige su propuesta. Una propuesta simple mezclada con un multijugador que hace de los jugadores el plato principal y lo mas retador que tiene el juego. El impostor tiene diversas areas exclusivas asi como mejoras con respecto a los demas personajes mientras que los demas tripulantes tienen solo el objetivo de hacer todas las tareas requeridas y permanecer vivos.

The concept of the game is a very simple but catching one: there is a damaged ship in space and the astronauts (you and 10 others) will have to complete tasks to fix it, but the twist of the story is that one of the players (or 2 or 3 in some cases) is an impostor and will try to both sabotage the ship and kill all the other players who will have to decide at each meeting who the impostor is.

This game is very simple to analyze and is at the same time curious in how he directs his proposal. A simple proposal mixed with a multiplayer that makes the players the main dish and the most challenging thing that the game has. The impostor has diverse exclusive areas as well as improvements with respect to the other characters while the other crew members have only the objective to make all the required tasks and to remain alive.

Una de mis primeras impresiones al descargar el juego y tratar de jugarlo la primera vez fue lo increiblemente dificil que me fue conseguir una partida debido a que los servidores estaban saturados por el recibimiento del juego. Estuve aproximadamente 2 horas tratando de encontrar con una partida, y cuando la encontre me vi envuelto en toda una tormenta a la hora de jugar.

Resulta que una parte importante del juego reside en las conversaciones entre los miembros de la nave y cada cosa que digas o movimiento en falso puede servirle a los demas para delatarte y que voten por ti erroneamente, esta caracteristica del juego (el factor humano) hace a Among us uno de los titulos mas interesantes para mi porque aca llegamos a probar cuan manipuladora puede llegar a ser las personas y como las relaciones humanas colaboran entre si para resolver una problematica.

One of my first impressions when downloading the game and trying to play it the first time was how incredibly difficult it was to get a game because the servers were saturated by the game's reception. I spent about 2 hours trying to find a game, and when I found it I was caught in a whole storm when it came to play.

It turns out that an important part of the game resides in the conversations between the members of the ship and every thing that you say or false move can serve to the others to betray you and that they vote for you erroneously, this characteristic of the game (the human factor) does to Among us one of the titles but interesting for my because here we come to prove how manipulative can become the people and as the human relations collaborate among if to solve a problem.

Como comentario final diria que es un muy juego bastante divertido sobretodo cuando se juegan partidas privadas con tus amigos, es un juego desafiante al nivel de lo que el ser humano puede ser. Los graficos son simples pero atrapan la vista, las tareas en la nave son variadas en cada nivel y la verdad lo unico que me ha molestado del juego pero qu es entendible son los servidores que la mayoria del tiempo estan caidos.

As a final comment I would say that is a very fun game especially when playing private games with your friends, is a challenging game at the level of what the human being can be. The graphics are simple but eye-catching, the tasks on the ship are varied at each level and the only thing that has really bothered me about the game but what is understandable are the servers that most of the time are down.
