CREATIVE SUNDAY: MAKING BEAUTIFUL ROSES WITH SUGAR PAPER
What are our plans for the celebration and what do we intend to gift our loved ones?
This brings me to the concept of today's creative Sunday. I have so many lovely friends I would want to gift this season and I thought of making beautiful roses to share with them as a symbol of my love for all of them.
DIY MAKING BEAUTIFUL ROSES WITH SUGAR PAPER
ITEMS USED FOR MAKING ROSES
1. Red colour Sugarpaper also called coloured cardstock paper
2. Paper Gum
3. scissors
4. Pencil
5. Ruler
6. Small cup
THE MAKING
STEP 1
All items listed above present, we get the sugar paper. This particular sugar paper has two sides Red and white. We turn the white side of the paper and make lines in a square shape of about 0-5cm wide after which we cut out the square.
To make all sides of the paper red and also have a firm rose, we put to paper together and hold them with the paper gum.
STEP 2
All sides of the squared-shaped paper are now red, we fold the paper into a triangular shape and cut off the sharp top of the triangle and make it into a curve. This would be done on all the cut-out square-shaped paper.
STEP 3
To get a small cup, I used an empty bottle water can which I cut into two equal parts, and then I used the part open like a cup. I placed the triangular cut paper on the cup one after the other and to make the paper stay on each other without falling I used the paper gum after I place the paper then put the gum on top.
Placing the paper around the cup top, continuously until it closes in the middle.
STEP 4
Now the middle of the cup is closed with the paper placed inside the cup, we pull out the cup and our Beautiful rose is ready.
This beautiful rose can be placed on a beautiful stand or an artificial green tree.
You can make as much as you want to share for your friends and loved once This season.

Wow.. I love how real the flower looks.. If I hadn't seen the whole process and just saw the end product, I no doubt would have thought that was real.
In fact when I finished making the roses 🌹 my husband thought I bought it because he was asleep when I was making it but when I showed him the whole process he confirmed it was real.
