HOW I COULD ACHIEVE WORK AND STUDY

Greetings everyone, it gives me pleasure to share my life experience because I know someone would benefit from it.
I have two experience in work and study.
First, when I was in university I needed a side hustle which would not affect my studies and I went for hair making, which is my Gift from God. I could stand for hours with ease when making hair.

How I could work and study
I was able to Combine work and study at University because

  1. I Plan: check my lecture timetable and work with the time. When I know it's going to be a busy school work week or at the shop where I make hair, I plan.

  2. I Keep Organised:my phone was always available and I had my tools in my bag. Hair making wasn't much of a brain-tasking job so my brain was available to take all my school work.

  3. Communication: I just hard to make the course rep my friend, my real friend and I would buy him lunch and make his girlfriend's hair just to get all the information I need.

  4. When it's Exams/Revision time: No hair making. There was no excuse to fail and I never failed a course in school I only had a missing script which I resolve with the help of the course rep.

  5. Taking time to Relax: take out a day to relax and always try to eat well and drink a lot of water. This would keep you healthy and strong for school and work.

Secondly, the real work and study where I had to take care of my baby, work as an engineer and study to get promotions. I must confess it was the craziest time in my life but I could conquer it with these steps below.

  1. This requires a good level of Planning for everything to work out fine.
  2. Asking for support from close family and friends
  3. Information: from the workplace and school is key at all times.
    I hope this information would be useful to someone.

Wao you are really a strong woman.
I made hair in school but I usually feel guilty doing that so I switched to selling hair extensions.
Are you still into hair making?

Ok let me give you the gist, I did not make hair inside the school for money I only did for my very close friends and it's usually free. Making student hair is usually cheap, I make hair for money outside school where they pay much and they don't know if you are a student. So that was the idea. I was making hair for the money. Now I sell hair accessories by the side and I work as an engineer 😇🙈 yes oh.

Planning is a good strategy, if you do it well you will be able to keep your things in order. And you will definitely have peace of mind.
