Associating crops, the best idea in the garden

Hello friends. On Monday I explained that I had already planted my pumpkins in the garden and gave a small guide on how to do it. Today, continuing with the agricultural theme, I wanted to give some methods for those newer to the garden to avoid the most common problems.

The first thing we must know is that a Garden is an ecosystem in itself and quite complex in which a multitude of factors intervene. The most important thing in a Garden, as in life, is to maintain the balance of things well. A Garden will work well if it is balanced and will work poorly if it is unbalanced.

One of the factors that can help us a lot when it comes to balancing our Garden is the association of crops. There are plants that get along well and plants that get along badly with each other like people. So we must choose well. In this way, some will help each other and improve the performance we will have.

One of the most famous associations is the one known as pre-Columbian, which is about uniting Corn, green beans and pumpkins. Here each plant fulfills a function. Corn acts as a tutor so that the beans can grow without canes. Beans fix nitrogen in the soil naturally, which helps the other two grow. And pumpkins with their large leaves maintain soil moisture so you have to water less.

There are many other associations that I will tell you about, but if you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask.

Thank you very much for supporting my blog and I look forward to your comments.!
