Growing Versatile Pumpkins with Expert Tips

Hello Hivians. It's Monday now and I hope you all had a fantastic weekend. Today I leave the usual posts and tell you again how the work in my garden is going.

So this weekend and taking advantage of the fact that it rained a little during the week I started planting the pumpkins. Pumpkins are a very simple crop that I love. They are a very versatile food that can be used both to make a good broth and to make a delicious puree. You can fry them or even use their flowers as food in salads or fried.
And I also grow some Halloween pumpkins to use as decorations.

It is a simple crop where the most important thing is the plantation. Pumpkins are plants with a lot of nutrient needs and, above all, they need a good space to develop, so if you don't have land, it is better to opt for another crop.
The cultivation frame must be 1 m2 and dig deep, for that I use my boy. Afterwards you have to add a 50% mixture of river sand and compost so that they have all the nutrients. Plant them in batches of 3 to make sure it comes out, then we will clarify and leave only one.

There are two important things in this crop. The first is that it requires constant humidity but without waterlogging, so it is a good idea to put padding. And the second is that since the flowers are very large we can act as a bee and thus ensure better production. With a simple stick we will take the pollen from the male flowers to the female ones and that's it.

I hope you are encouraged to grow pumpkins or anything else in your garden and you tell it. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.

Thank you very much for supporting my blog and I look forward to your comments.!
