(En-Tr) Walking the Streets of Konya - Konya Sokaklarında Gezmek

Hello my dear friends. I would like to continue with the sharing of my visit to Konya about walking. As you know, I chose the provinces of Konya and Ankara to evaluate my holidays. During my trip to Konya, I toured in Zafer Square, which is the busiest street of Konya. In this content, I will tell you the beautiful feelings of seeing these places again after years.

Merhaba değerli arkadaşlarım. Konya ziyaretimin yürüyüş konulu paylaşımıyla devam etmek istiyorum.
Bildiğiniz üzere tatil günlerimi değerlendirmek için Konya ve Ankara illerini tercih ettim.
Konya gezim esnasında özellikle Konya'nın en işlek caddesi olan Zafer Meydanında turladım.
Bu içeriğimde size yıllar sonra buraları tekrar görmenin verdiği güzel duyguları anlatacağım.

As soon as I came to the city of Konya, the first place I wondered about was the streets of Konya, which I used to wander almost every day five years ago. I got off at the bus station and got on the first minibus I saw there. I came to the memorial stop. I got off there and told my wife, who was with me, that I usually got off here when I first came. Because it was very easy to pass from the monument stop to the victory square. I felt that almost everything was as before. There didn't seem to be any major changes. At that moment, it occurred to me to call my best friend from my university years. I video-call him and show him the places we hang out all the time. He was as excited as me and was happy to see them again.

Konya şehrine gelir gelmez ilk merak ettiğim yer bundan beş sene önce neredeyse her gün dolaştığım Konya sokakları oldu. Otogarda indim ve orada gördüğüm ilk dolmuşa bindim.
Anıt durağının oraya geldim.
Orada inip yanımda bulunan eşime genelde ilk geldiğim de burada indiğimi söyledim.
Çünkü anıt durağından zafer meydanına geçmek çok kolay oluyordu.
Neredeyse her şeyin eskisi gibi olduğunu hissettim.
Büyük değişiklikler bulunmuyor gibiydi.
O an aklıma üniversite yıllarımda ki en samimi arkadaşımı aramak geldi.
Onu görüntülü aradım ve ona sürekli beraber takıldığımız yerleri gösterdim.
O da benim gibi heyecanlanıp oraları tekrar görmenin mutluluğunu yaşadı.

I was determined to go around the whole Victory Square. However, this would be quite difficult for me due to the weight of the bags on my back and in my hand. That's why I wanted to find a solution. Five years ago, I knew a tradesman. I went to him thinking that he might still be in the same place. I was happy to see that it is still in the same place. I had a short chat and put my stuff in his shop. Everything was now convenient to spend the day walking comfortably.

Kararlıydım bütün Zafer Meydanını dolaşacaktım. Ancak sırtımda ve elimde bulunan çantaların ağırlıkları nedeniyle bu benim için oldukça zor olacaktı. Bu nedenle bir çözüm bulmak istedim. Bundan beş sene önce bir esnaf tanıyordum. Onun hala aynı yerde olabileceğini düşünerek yanına gittim.
Hala aynı yerinde devam ettiğini görünce mutlu oldum. Kısa bir sohbet ettim ve eşyalarımı onun dükkanına koydum. Günü rahat bir şekilde gezerek geçirebilmek için artık her şey uygundu.

While walking around the streets that I know almost every part of, I was also remembering the old days. I sat here with my friends. That's how we spent time. I wanted to go back to those old days. There were a few flavors that I missed in Konya. I wanted to taste these flavors again. That's why I didn't eat my food in a random place. I noticed that the part of the Victory Square facing the Alaaddin Hill has been slightly modified. The kiosks there were removed and the area was expanded. I didn't like this very much. I think the old one was better.

Neredeyse her yerini çok iyi bildiğim sokaklarda dolaşırken bir yandan da eski günleri anıyordum. Şurada şu arkadaşlarımla oturdum. Şu şekilde zamanlar geçirdik diye.
O eski günlere tekrar dönmek istedim.
Konya'da özlediğim bir kaç lezzet vardı. Bu lezzetleri tekrar tatmak istedim. Bu yüzden yemeğimi rastgele bir yerde yemedim.
Zafer Meydanının Alaaddin Tepesi bakan bölümünde biraz değişiklik yapıldığını fark ettim.
Orada bulunan büfeler kaldırılmış ve alanı iyice genişletilmiş. Bu durum benim çokta hoşuma gitmedi.
Eskiki hali daha güzeldi diye düşünüyorum.

As I continued my walk, I was startled by the sound of the tram. This sound did not sound foreign to me at all. Because for four years, I was living on the tram almost every day. I watched the passengers getting on and off the tram opposite the victory stop, where most passengers get on and off. At that moment, I remembered the days when I got on these trams when they were full. How could I forget the journeys I took standing up, almost unable to move? Remembering those moments again, I proceeded to the section called Kültür Park. There were also some changes that caught my eye. A big old train was placed in that area and opened for use as a cafe. I think it is quite an interesting place. After completing my tour in Zafer Square, I headed towards the high-speed train station to go to Ankara. I would walk for about fifteen minutes. While walking, a cute bim market on the left of the road caught my attention. I walked into this small market. I took a few things out of it and went on my way. I've seen this market before on social media.

Yürüyüşüme devam ederken tramvay sesi ile irkildim. Bu ses bana hiç yabancı gelmedi. Çünkü dört sene boyunca neredeyse her gün tramvay yolculuğu yaşıyordum.
En çok yolcunun inip bindiği zafer durağının karşısında tramvaya inen ve binen yolcuları izledim. O an aklıma bu tramvaylar doluyken bindiğim günler aklıma geldi.
Neredeyse hareket bile edemeden ayakta yaptığım yolculukları nasıl unutabilirdim ki.
O anları da tekrar hatırlayıp Kültür Park adı verilen bölüme doğru ilerledim.
Orada da bazı değişiklikler gözüme çarptı. O alana büyük eski bir tren konulmuş ve kafe olarak kullanıma açılmış. Oldukça ilgi çekici bir yer olmuş diye düşünüyorum.
Zafer Meydanında ki turumu tamamladıktan sonra Ankara'da gidebilmek için hızlı tren garına doğru yöneldim.
Yaklaşık on beş dakika kadar yürüyecektim.
Yürürken yolun solunda ki şirin bir bim market dikkatimi çekti.
Küçük görünen bu markete girdim. İçerisinden bir kaç şey aldım ve yoluma devam ettim.
Bu marketi daha önce sosyal medyada da görmüştüm.

I wandered these streets until evening. I can say that I don't even feel tired. I had a very pleasant day until I came to Konya train station and got on the train there. I missed all of Konya. I took the train to Ankara. I dreamed of traveling again on the day of my return. I end my content with these words. See you again, goodbye.

Akşama kadar bu sokakları dolaştım. Yorulduğumu bile hissetmediğimi söyleyebilirim. Konya tren garına gelip orada trene binene kadar oldukça keyifli bir gün geçirdim.
Bütün Konya'yı özlemişim.
Trene binerek Ankara'ya doğru yola çıktım. Dönüş gününde tekrar gezeceğimin hayallerini kurdum.
